We haven't heard much of the second half of this theme (I think it's separately called "Tonight's the Night" with the haunting "aaaah, aaaaah" in the background) in Season 5 or 6. I kinda miss it, and hope we get to hear it later on this season. I love the music in this series, and it kinda ties all the seasons together, in a way.

A lot of people say serial killers are awesome because of watching Dexter. Let me correct you, no they are not. Serial killers are monsters that kill the innocent. Dex is something more.. I like to refer to him as an artist and a true hero with some minor psychological issues.

@darkria4 No I have not forgotten, I was just quoting something he said in Season 1. Also while he does kill bad people he has been known to make the occasional slip (the photographer and Rankin) while all the others that were innocent were out of self defense.(Miguel's brother and Liddy) While research shows that there is no such person on earth that exists, that does not mean they do not exist...they just have not been caught yet. I am looking forward to the final two season of Dexter :)

When ever I walk around town and this song pops up on my ipod I get this urge. The Urge tells me to buy doughnuts for the police, buy some cutting tools, stalk people, drive around in the dark, drink coffee, monolouge to myself, and recreate the intro scene of dexter when he is eating breakfast. All this before the last note on 2:10 of this song. Its a challenge to OVER COME. BUT I WILL DO IT!

I simply love Dexter's soundtrack. It's So Unique for the subject of the show, it's slightly juxtaposition & yet has that eerie quality you would Expect from a horror story or a serial killer story, yet it has a real dreamy sort of sound, a lullaby. You could almost imagine a Baby in a crib with a mobile spinning overhead. Great Music.

I watched all shows such as Psych, NCIA, Law & Order, Monk, Murder She Wrote, CSI. Then PSYCH was my favorite show. Then I watched Dexter, Now it makes PSYCH & all other shows look like Dora the fucking Explorer!

I always loved violence & flesh! Dexter fulfilled my dreams! =)

Yeah I know, but that's the scene (that used it) that stick's out the most because it had the classic Dexter/Doakes conflict. Furthermore, the first part of this track that was used for the scene fits Dexter's expression as he realises that Jeremy has killed again - the theme becomes 'bouncy' when Dexter chuckles at Doakes' "You getting a god damn hard on there Morgan?" - it seemed to have lightened the grim mood a bit but then Dexter realises that he needs to find Jeremy.
