@emekyal07 try doing a fresh install by backing up your phone and card and format both of them. That should solve the problem.

I did everything as shown on the video and even tried to format the SD card when it got stuck after clicking "yes" to Haret file. Then I formatted the phone and the SD card and tried all over again. I extracted the files from the Android folder and saved to my SD card all the time but still it didnot work! :(

@botnaribsky Android is on your SD card so it won't see it once you go into it. Only in windows partition you can see the card.

@xxKrizz It might work if you reset the phone to factory settings and format your card before putting android on it. That's solved the problem for me.

@aznboiofbeans I can help about the not hearing. You would need to change the radio probably. My settings were working fine on 2.10. I have a video for that on my channel if you want to look into that.

That had fixed the calls issue for me.

@zuitzooter That problem is something I had too. I actually formatted both the card and the phone and it worked.

Delete the extracted android files and extract new again from the rar file that you have. That way you will have a clean install.

@wiseken623 I can't be sure about the battery. I actually didn't have any problems with the battery. It could be the actual handset causing battery issues. I had to replace my old handset. I called in tmobile and the replaced the phone for me after getting a new battery didn't solve the problem.

Secondly I can look and see what could be the latest rom out as I did this months ago. I still do it for others every now and then and they have been working fine.

thanks for getting back at me, i found a boot loader for dualboot from the same site...all working great now, only have one complaint i have no ringer! it says its on silent mode and i cant change it. i have the right radio and everything, so i'm not sure what it is...but everything else works great!

@wiseken623 What do you mean exactly by unlocking? If you are trying to install for the first time and if it takes you let's say more than 5 minutes and the screen stays where it is, then it is not working. Take the battery out to disconnect it. then restart the phone and repeat the android installation. If the problem stays, try to format your card and phone before you install android. Is that the problem you are having?

@NellyCupcakes You would have to flash/format your sd card and try it again as it does that sometimes. But once it is installed, it will work fine.

@mina6913 Yes I downloaded an app from the market. I believe it was ringroid. And you can make your own ringtones from that from your music. I found that out later.

@nathanlatchman extract the contents first. You will get the android folder and the read me file. Just copy the folder on your sd card and then install it on your phone.

@SupaSlammage First of all, congrats to you for getting the HD2. I personally liked android as it works better than windows and the android market has a lot more to offer than windows marketplace. Everything seemed to work fine for me once I set up everything. If you download the android from my video, for calls (if your calls are robotic) you might have to change the radio as your phone will come with the latest version. I have a video up for that as well as the radio file to download.

@shammas23 I just downloaded the file for my sanity sake and it is what I have in the video. The file that you download is a RAR file which you have to extract to get the android folder and the readme.

@shammas23 Did you copy the android folder as it is or did you copy the files inside the folder and pasted or copied on your sd card? If you copied the folder and you are having problems, then try to format your sd card. And then put the android folder in it.

Do back up your sd card contents if you plan on formatting it. Let me know if you need help with anything.

@shammas23 To backup your contents such as contacts and messages, pictures and stuff, you can use an app called mybackup. You can also transfer pictures, files and music etc to your pc. When you plug your phone to your pc, go to "my computer" and look for the phone pic and right click on it and click open and it will open the root folder containing all the files. Or you can use Windows Mobile Center or Actuvesync to access your phone's contents.

Example: C:/My Documents/Android/Froyo

So in the above example, the drive "C" would be the root of this path. Or the main folder.

@mystikrey You would have to activate the 3G network. Below are steps on doing it.

"You have to go into settings, then network settings.

After you go to wireless and networks, go to mobile networks, access point names.

If it is blank press the windows button, select new APN and enter "epc.tmobile.com"

for the name and the APN field and save it. That should start your 3G connection in the android os.

Let me know if it works."
