Although I would love a Calvin And Hobbes movie, to quote Watterson himself, "The thought of Calvin with a voice scares me." This is why I hate the writers of Robot Chicken for having Calvin put in a lunatic asylum in one of their sketches, thinking it harmless because they think not a lot of people who watch that show actually know about the strip.
If you think robot chicken writers are trying to be harmless and that the 13-22 year olds that watch the show don't know about Calvin and Hobbes, your, quite frankly, nun too bright.

Calvin and Hobbes is such an incredible comic strip. I love it so much. I owe my life to Calvin and Hobbes. I wouldn't be nearly the same person that I am today if I hadn't read it obsessively as a child.
P.S. Watterson credits himself for being the first comic strip artist to include the word booger in a comic strip. The one at 4:40 is the first one. I don't know if it's actually true, but it's possible.

It proves that he made Calving and Hobbes for the sake of making something incredible and beautiful. In this world, it's hard to come by anybody like that anymore.
