Beautiful! Reminds me of the Thompson Hwy (Hwy 11) between Rocky Mtn. House and the Icefields Parkway in Alberta. Have the great good fortune of riding up there in 2004.

as an Alberta boy, I'm biased, but having ridden in many places, I agree that Kananaskis is one of the top Rocky Mountain rides, as there generally is very little traffic, lots of wildlife, and spectacular scenery (the Highwood Pass is about 7800 ft I believe)

Hi Jeff, Kananaskis is simply beautiful, especially the view you get when you crest over the rise in the road and 'officially' enter into the valley coming from the TCH side.

Hopefully for the summer of 2012, I can finally get around to creating some videos of this region at my channel.

I`ve done this ride Edmonton to kamloops to Te jaune to Jasper back to Westlock on a xs1100 special with wife and trailor --seen one of the bigest black bears where these bulls are well close to there .
