White trash won't be able to buy soda as often if it's more expensive. The gov. should regulate our diets, because who the fuck wants america to be the "fat" country, like we currently are.

Same here, I weigh 138 pounds and drink at least a 6 pack of non-diet soda a day. This tax is so wrong just like the tobacco tax.

No tax will make people quit drinking pop or lose weight. It's not the government's job to regulate our diets - that's a personal responsibility.
Another thing-what about 7-up when you're sick? Are they going to punish them too?
