american schools aren't easy. we have state finals. hard. we have mid terms, benchmark tests. 90% of our grades. hard. we have summer school, detention, dress codes. not fun.

@zaramukta No, In my school (in America). Most kids carry 2 to 3 1 1/2" binders in backpacks or shoulder bags. We don't carry our textbooks because we have a school and home copy of them. The binders do get packed very quickly so we empty them out every few weeks. I put mine in a box to study for finals/regents. We get tons and tons of paper. So we empty our binder out a lot. Probably after two or three subjects. Some people do use notebooks though.

@haralsonkaylak Hey, where I live you can buy similar notebooks, the brand is Atoma. They are less expensive, I think it must be around 4 to 5 dollars. I don't really know since we use euros here xD. But maybe you can find them online.

@Sennnsie we have lockers, so it's not like we're carrying 4 binders all at once. a majority of the schools don't allow us to carry backpacks or tote bags between classes, so binders help keep everything together. Also, a lot of our teachers require a binder for their class... so don't call us weird just because we don't do what you do.

@mia654cooliscute they dont, americans schools are multiple choice questions, Im from ireland we have no multiple choice we have essay writing and essay questions for all subjects. and for languages you have letter writing and things, no multiple choice where u can almost guess the correct answer. People who come from europe and go to american schools tend to skip 2 grades as what they are teaching theyve already learnt.
