  • 1st kid on bench would be disqualified in a power lifting competition for bringing his butt of the bench, thats too heavy for him and he wont get stronger unless he drops the weight and uses proper form

  • how early is too early to start weightlifting? My 10 yr old is interested and he is 5feet 6 inches tall and is 150 lbs he is super interested in football and body building but I think he is too young even though he has the body. What's your opinion on this.

  • @CyberDame He shouldn't begin serious weight training until he's at least 14. He can do things like pushups and situps, but his joints and ligaments will get damaged in the long run if he begins lifting heavy weight before they develop fully.

  • @chisenganpro do u not see how long his arms are? ppl with longer arms can't bench as much as ppl with shorter arms... its true... put identical players side to side, one with longer arms than the other. dude with the shorter arms will put up more reps because the distance to lock out is shorter...

  • @wolfpackhockey11 It's not bad. I bench 235 and squat 405 but I also weight 185. Dude, stick with it like I did I weight lift literally every day for at least 2 hours most of the time more and do sprints and stuff. I'm a high school football player and I'm also 14.

  • There are different ways of benching dip shit! If you play football you would know.

  • for bench, your arms should be wide enough so that when touching your chest, your arms are about 90 degress, so about 2-3 inchs from far line.

  • @GunHappyAndMad nah man it aint a rumor. its better just to spend 30 insane hard working loud music getting pumped in the weight room and then eating a big meal and taking a nap then it is to work slowly for a whole hour.

  • cortisol is the hormone you are thinking of, and yes it does hinder muscle gain and promotes muscle wasting. Look at long distance runners compared to sprinters and it is easy to see the effects of cortisol and long training sessions.   • oh tht was huerta vs guida i saw tht fight and he wasnt in the ufc he was only taught by someone from a team called ufc, u have to fight amature for awhile and if u do good like 10-0 or a really good record maybe ull get looked at. these workouts arent tht hard either compared to wrestling ones they need to step it up.

  • eat more! take your BW x 20 and eat that amt of calories per day.... break them up into 60% carbs, 30% protein and 10% fat.

  • you've got to do a combo of both... lift heavy for strength and lift "light" (8-12 reps) for size.
