You guy's hear the quick vibrato? Isn't it too fast and kinda all over the place? Thats kinda how I do it and I've been told it doesnt sound good so I've been practicing to have more control over it. Just lookin' for your opinions...

@da1nonlydoron Quick vibrato sounds good in certain situations, in this type of song it sounds killer, but the key to having good vibrato is being able to control it. Practice playing solid tones without vibrato and then slowly bring it in and then slowly bring it out.

@SephtheOni Hi :) i was wondering the same thing for a long time, it's basically humming while your playing, the growl comes from the clash between the notes you're playing and the notes you're humming, i used this site to figure it out, hope this helps :)

It's really up to what saxophone you liek the most, do you want to play tenor, then play tenor, all saxophones are hard to play at hte begining in their own way. Just pick the one you can see yourself with playing in the future, take lessons and have fun.

vithaj92 is right- but for a learner i would personally recommend an alto because it takes less air than a tenor or baritone... (I have learned) But I mean you can go with what ever your heart desires.

Yes, I know about mouthpieces - I do play the sax. But it seems that this man is being used as an advert for the mouthpiece and he's really a fantastic saxophonist who needs to be recognised for being that - rather than as someone who's good b/c of the mouthpiece

I know mark six does not come mixed with gold plated body with silver keys, but that is the only alto sax I know that has a low A option (the third big pad at the bell). I also think I saw a glance of selmer design when the camera slightly zoomed on the neck...

Yes you're correct. Someone on another video thought it was a Mark VII but the VI had these kinds of special designs and the VII didn't.
