as headshots aer all that matters with snipers; having accuracy of at least 98% works well for me. i know people say 97%, but personally i can't stand missing that often ;). besides, why not make it damagex7 like the masher (think it's masher) revolvers, now those can take people down fast.

even though i agree that using cheats in a game is OP, adding mods' to it adds more content to play around with. online games are optional. COD World at war has x-box add-ons like maps, Arma has tons of mods different ones are for different player tips. so basically stop bitching about weather modding it is good or bad

Why is everyone hating on mods? If you remember back in the day games were modded and became games of their own, an e.g. would be the massive TF2 that still makes tons of money even after 4 years, that is a sequel to a little game called Team Fortress (classic) that was a Quake mod. Hell Valve relies on the modding community, as does Notch for Minecraft. Mods are made to explore the game further and add new elements to improve it, if some people like not dying then fine. You don't have to use it

@Advent704 the game cannot generate guns outside of specific ranges, however if you hex code you can easily have a gun with better stats. my friend has a shotgun that he hex modded and i think it has around 50k damage, it 1 shots any enemy in the game, including almost all bosses (unsure about crawmerax). Thus if you max damage, give it all elements with a x4 damage proc with a 100% chance, and max out it's scope, fire rate, reload speed, and clip size, it would be the "best gun in the game"

What's funny about this sniper is that it's not even good. he modded it to give it super speed, power, and elements, but he completely disregarded the 1 thing snipers need above all else, accuracy. While with a fast firing sniper rifle, you can probably do with a bit of a loss of accuracy, the sway caused by the firing needs to not move the gun so damn much when firing. next time you want to show off a "perfect" sniper, fire at a blank wall and watch where the bullets go.
