I think the government should have a not-for-profit, subzised car insurance for low-income/disabled people, it would encourage many to be able to get work(and thus save money), and give those that can't work a chance to volunteer, or just be able to get out of the house and not become a recluse, and give a chance to got to doctors. My mom is on disability, and car insurance sucks away about 1/6 of her income, without even counting gas/oil.

Then again, Obama hates public insurance options.

live in chicago. own my own business. and i cycle every day during every season by choice.

i'm a son of detroit. i feel for the whole state of michigan. though, the auto industry has really left the state to rot. and it's time to move past the car culture we've become accostomed to.
