  • This is the clearest demo I've seen. Everyone else uses too much strength, wild hands, or sloppy footwork.

  • How would Yip man fare in tha hood? Think he'd be able to handle, you know, the nigs?

  • @judutchinski The nigs? Wow. You, child, are a horse's ass.

  • @Takethisnamebitch - hahaha. I love all races and am pro diversity. But let's get real, it's a valid question. I lived in enough places and experienced enough to know that thugs will call themselves this. So don't blame me. And sure enough you all know who I'm talking about. I'll even say this to my black friends and they will agree with me. No harm meant. :)

  • @judutchinski if they had no guns. but if it was bare hands or knives i think Yip Man would have a very easy time

  • This guy is older than his father was when his father died.

    Check out William Cheung.

  • @rikirikado

Cheung was only trained for a couple years as a teenager, and made up what he wasn't formally trained in. What he calles "Chum Kiu" & "Biu Jee" is NOT Ip Man Wing Chun - it's stuff Cheung made up. If you want to learn Wing Chun as taught by Ip Man, stay away from William Cheung.

  • @Nephronial there are alot of variations of wing chun and ip man wasnt the original read up on it Wing Chun was created by a woman.

Legend has it that in the days of the Shaolin Temple, there was a tunnel filled with 108 wooden dummies, and the monks who completed their training were required to pass through this tunnel as one of their final exams. Each one of these dummies performed a certain technique, which the "graduate" monks had to neutralize on their way out of the temple.

  • No sound?

  • If you don't believe wing chun works against big people check out Samuel Kwok's chi sau with one of the strongest men in Europe.

  • Maybe it is a bit misleading, that You mixed in Yip Man too, leaving out to assign it not beeing the same person. Anyway, I do not think it was by purpose.

  • it's hard to learn keyboard-sao... just kidding~~

IMO he's wing chun style is not too flowing and a little too defensive, and im not relating to this video. But i like his form perfection, i can see a nice fajin here.

  • advanced WC is more fluid. Real WC is both a hard and soft style.

  • eyval pesar az koja awordi in video haro :)

  • All we ever see if Yip Chun doing chi sao, but would it work against a 230 pound fighter....umm

  • Yes it would work, lbs doesn't matter in Chi Sao. Chi Sao isn't about fighting, it's a sensitivity training tool. thank before you type

  • *think lol

  • Yeah, thank God before you type! LOL

  • yes if done correctly it will work very well. Win tsun as well as all internal martial arts were developed for small people who can't generate as much power through throwing random punches. Win tsun is about ending a fight quickly. and thats what will happen if approached correctly

  • There are many ways to spell wing chun and spelling it as "Win" tsun has killed all your creditbility....at least learn the proper spellings of the style before you comment on something you know so little about. -wing chun-ving tsun-yong chun ect..."win" without the "e" becomes a different word in cantonese unless your writing it as yong.

  • Weight is very important, even boxing has different weight fight,Chi Shao just train your sensibility, not directly fighting,Yip Chun's kung fu compare to Yip Man is just like Brandon Lee compare to his father Bruce Lee,far behind because he start real late, but it is not bad for a seventy three year old man do Chi Sao with some big guy for quite a long time,I saw that in a video tape,at lease he is in a very good body condition.

Anyway, this video is good and kind of complete than anyother guy.

  • Yip man would turn in the gave if he saw this wannabee Kung Fu. This is Yip Chun wich is not the legendary Yip Man (who trained Bruce Lee and Leung Ting)

  • bruce lee only reached level 2 of wing chun and leung ting dont have the authentic wing chun. he had some training and made up some and called it leung ting wing chun, inheritor of yip man, certainly not... you guys dont know wing chun when you see it or when it passed u by. open ur eyes open your mind and start searching 4 d real thing.

  • my new sorcerer in AD&D is level 2 also!

  • Yip Chun is the son of Yip Man, not wannabee Kung Fu here.

  • @madduff76 NOOO REALLY?!?!

  • This is his son. Would he turn in the grave because he taught his son poorly or because his son learned poorly? Why would he turn in the grave. Is the heir doing anything wrong to dishonor his deceased master/father? I fail to see your point.

  • Yip Ching learned better, Chun too old to learn at late 1965.

  • this is the real thing.

  • This is Master Ip Chun, GM Ip Man's eldest son.

  • that's not yip man - that is his relative i believe Ip Ghun - yip died in 72 the green video within this video is yip man

  • Is this Yip Man's son? In what year was this video filmed?

  • yip man died in 72 so it was prob in 71 or 72 they filled this cause it looks too new for the 60's

  • he done it after his father's death.

  • The turning head at the beginning was pretty freakish! Was it computer graphic? LOL! I like the shadow puppets parts at 1:30 sec and at 3:20 sec a lot! Can he make a duck? Brah ha ha ha!!
