I can't do this everytime I just the stars fade then the big circle where your meant to escape from just follows me, and I don't even know where the last gate is. So frustrating.

@rachet529 If you load from a save game file before you used the cheat code, or start a new game, you can get the achievement, which registers to your XBOX Live / Games for Windows - Live account (or, I presume, a PS3 equivalent), without having to replay the entire game.

If this vid doesnt help get the stars and go straight to the subways and run along the tracks. If you used any health or armor Cheat you will NOT GET THE ACHIEVEMENT, just load the game again. Thumbs up so ppl can see this.

@xytsdx2 I don't quite understand your question? This is what I did I went to the dashboard cuz I already used the cheat then loaded the game, after that I killed cops until I got 4 stars then I ran to the subway and ran along the tracks until I got out of the wanted zone and got the achievement.

@MrBuffguy20001 My question is, once you get the achievement, does that mean no more cops?Say if you want to go on a big killing spree on people, do the cops show up or don't do anything? If it doesn't get rid of the cops, there's no point of getting this achievement, I don't care about my gamerscore, but if it does get rid of the cops permanently, then it's worth trying.

everytime i go to the fucking airport to attempt this achievement i fucking get overwhelmed by Cops everywhere even when i escape the ones in the vehicles after 3 hours of running around the city i go to swim in the water i fucking get shot at by 30,000 police boats... fucking impossible!

They updated the achievement, now I think that you actually have to WALK to get it cause thats what I did. I just used a cheat to raise my wanted level, then went down in the subway and started running and got the achievement. CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS FOR MORE INFO.

Walk free is very easy...i just did it on my first try...get a motorcycle because its harder for them to shoot out your tires...all I did was drive into the francis airport (auto 4 stars once u get on the tarmac), then drove out and on the highway pretty far... and eventually u have to get out of your car and run, or else cops will keep spotting u....so then i sort of got lucky and ran the very end of the amusement park area and was free!

Another way is going to the subway use the cheat for +1 star till 4star and just drive all the way till you lost them easy

(and yes you can still get the achievemnt with that cheat) and just reload your game after it to clean your stats

an easier way to do it  is go to the airport then when you have 4 stars just go on your phone and call someone then cancel it quick, the 4 stars won't go away but it will get you the trophy/achievement

i got this by driving down the subway tracks near tw@ in algonquin, the police dont follow you and you cant be detected on the radar, just keep driving till you are out of the circle, easy
