To the people saying to send paperwork to the ATF... airguns are NOT considered firearms and are NOT regulated by the ATF. As long as the silencer does not function on a firearm (even 1 shot is considered "functional") it SHOULD be legal.
Not much point fitting moderators to spring rifles as most of the noise produced comes from the spring mechanism itself and not out of the muzzle - the difference will be negligable
A realy good testing, i dident mind the backround noise, i think i will buy the weihrauch HW100s or the HW100, i dont know if they are the same one or not... but anyway. i cant get mi hands on a logun though. i cant find them anywhere outside the UK...:(
A great video all in all. cheers mate and keep the videos coming.
I have a Gemtech Outback II that I use on my Browining Buckmark and my 10/22. I never thought of putting it on an airgun. Do you think it would work for an airgun?
Yes it should work well. However, European and British air rifles use a different muzzle thread than American silencers, so it generally requires an adaptor.
@Dimelo23 you need to send in paperwork to the atf and apply for a silencer. after about 3 months (if everythings good) youll be the owner of a new silencer. Its a fairly quick process considering most countries dont even allow silencers. You can not own a silencer if you: a. have been convicted of a felony or jailed for a period longer than 1 year, b. have been convicted of a misdemeanor of domestic violence, c. have renounced citizenship or arent a citizen or have a mental disability
nice man good job on the costom stuff i own a gamo bigcat 1200 pertty bad ass 2 but i sighted in the scope at like 30ft but when i go to 50ft they pellet shoots 2 far up rather than down i dont get it from feather ur pellets should be hitting lower becuz of pellet drop weird... but i dont get it is it normal?? Reply please thanks good job btw
I have a air arms s410k. Going to be purchasing a silencer within couple of months. Have been looking at the logun carbon fibre, air arms, weilrauch(but needs a 1/2".) Any reccomendations. Greatful for ur comments
Silencers are not illegal in the US if done properly. You have to pay for the silencer then pay the ATF $200 for a seal to have a class 3 firearm and wait to be approved.Thats it.

The parker hale seemed to do the best job on the s200 and the qgs on the bam.
I have a qgs on my Airwolf and it is by far the best silencer I have ever used.

Silencers are generally NOT legal in the US
jfoxcroft 3 years ago
they are legal you just have to register it in your name just for a real gun not an airgun

I've seen silenced airguns come with silencers already on and they're legal. pyramyd air has a lot of airguns, but I've never used them before

Any of the silencers you mentioned will be fine for the S410. Personally, I would go with the Logan.

Ur right you have to pay like 350 dollars for the licence here in the US.
member353 4 years ago
It should be more accuret with the MB on.
It might deflect the gases away from the pellet when it leaves the barrel. Mabey

I envy you! I would like to see accuracy comparisons with any rifle with the muzzle break on and off. Thanks for the video!

Call it a muzzle break.
