The birds aren't singing as lovely today cuz their camera woman Carol has passed through the Golden Gates to Heaven. But the angels rejoice and welcome Carol with beauty and laughter and everything she brought to this earth while we were lucky enough to have her here. Rest in peace treasured woman we will miss the dickens out of you 'til we meet again.
You sure do have a full community of them! I could probably sit and watch them all day; they can be so comical sometimes. Quite an accomplishment when you can get one to perch on your hand, but I'd imagine it's just a matter of time and patience while they learn to trust you.
@631959 They are a friendly flock and I think by the way we keep getting more here that they are writing home and telling all the other Finches to come to the big feeder.

What a pretty little bird!! The goldfinch is the state bird of NJ, but I've only seen about 3 of them in 45 years. Go figure!!☺

Thanks!..My Dad loved Yellow Finches he always made sure his feeders were full so his "Little Friends" didn't go hungry
