2 days before the release of their second album and stage debut of rising sun he got a major knee injury while they were practicing at the rehearsal studio. He danced even if it hurt then at the end he was scorching.. They thought it was just a sprain but apparently when they brought him to the physician they discovered it was a major one. JJ was left with two surgery choices, (continue below..)

one will make him able to dance again the following morning but will post problems in the future, the second one will take seven months to recover but insures health..members chose the second one.. though it was a hard decision.. That explains why in their live performances of rising sun JJ only sings and then lives, his dance parts were covered by a masked dancer.. :) I got carried away.. sorry.. XD

Without DBSK you have no Shinee. they're basically the juniors of DBSK and to be honest, you can't compare them since they recently just debuted and DBSK has been out longer and higher record sells. Besides, both groups have respect for one another.
