I don't think so the in flames of these years sucks. They have changed their style many times. If you don't look they such a melodic death metal band, you can understand that the last works aren't bad but very good, musically speaking :D

But that's not what the real fans want, the old fans, i have 2 older albums and A sense of Purpose...i dont like the new one it has too many anthem-chorus and too less METAL. It just lacks of the old style far too much...In Flames has changed i guess. Oh well at least i have the old CD's.

'cause most new fans just listen their new music because it's more catchy and just like i said, too anthem like and less metal. it lacks their original style, and hey it doesn't matter which album you heard first, but as long as you get the meaning of their first records and appreciate them and arent just some joined up-thum-up-the-bum fanboy who doesn't get the meaning of old In Flames or even dispises them i don't care. my opinion is that the new in flames is creating their music to sell their cds while the old in flames was one of the best metal bands...

so

it doesnt matter what cd u listened first or if u like the new in flames...if you like their old cds that means you can appreciate good metal and u r not only liking the new pop in flames

Well that's a little more clear. I still think you're being quite narrow-minded to believe a band is only writing music to sell records. There's no way, imo, thatwhen they're writing new music they think,

"ok, this riff will sell, this one is too old school, so is this one...oh but this is catchy and pop-metal sounding.." etc, etc....
