I think her background vocalist shouldnt sing with her if u notice they're not present here and she does well. But in all of the televise performances they make her sound off key because they're either not singing in her register..out singing her or trying to lead the vocals.especially the short headed brunette.

I was at this concert and it was AMAZING! Her voice was great and she seemed to be so relaxed and was able to give a wonderful performance!

Why cant she sing like this on TV when it counts? lol I mean this is a million times better than anything i've seen her do on TV lately. I think charmed rocks is right when that camera starts rolling and all of america is watching she wants so badly to go out there and kill it that she just ends up sounding horrible. She can do it just like Kelly Clarkson that big voice is buried in there somewhere they just gotta find it and bring it back out.

You know, usually I always think she sounds amazing, but I see where you're coming from. I mean, I wouldn't call her tv performances 'horrible', but I will say they are pitchy and not as good as her performances at fairs and festivals. I do agree that it is probably because of the nerves from a camera being on her... I also wish she would sing like this on tv when it counts b/c those are the performances that critics are going to judge.

Jess did amazing performing this live! She will be very successful in the country genre, and anyone that doesn't think so is just a delusional carrie fan. I agree with litme and jellybean, why can't people like both carrie and jessica? there's no rule that says you can't. both are very talented and their own unique artist, there is no mandatory need to compare them both just because they are both 'blonde'. it's childish really. it's like they feel threatened.

so a 3rd grader wrote a song warns her friend about the person who's beating on them and refers to whisky and times like "3 am". I am pretty sure the world has not come to such a halt that third graders don't stay up til 3 am or drink whisky. This is a real heartfelt song that makes me think about and appreciate life, actually. This is one of the best fits for Jessica Simpson, and I think that it should be her next single.

It's true that she was at the height of her fame/success through newlyweds, but that's just because she wasn't willing to market herself as a 'whore' at such a young age like Christina and Britney. ;) Because of that, no one would listen to her even though her vocals are amazing. It just took Newlyweds for Jessica to get exposure. Now, everyone is just a fan of her voice. ;)
