Ya stickers gay, needs to be lowered. the sri will suck ass in the summer time, exxhaust looks stock no good. go for performance and looks. and those tail lights were so gay glad you got rid of em. But believe me, back when I bought the car in 2008 all I had was 9k to find a car and there were no Type-S Acuras in that price range, trust me I searched and searched! So I had to settle on a base (not by choice). But now, I am in love with this car, and regardless of whether it's a type-s or not, its still a pretty damn good car! @USSRman45 I actually bought those rims on Craigslist from this lady with tires for $500! The rims are Aerospeed Xpress 18 inches. Google them, sure you'll be able to find some somewhere for a decent price ;-) GOOD LUCK!

BTW: I am working on my second video, the car has progress coils on it, reflash, injen CAI and no more stickers now! LOL

My STOCK 2004 RSX TYPE S will produce 3rd gear rubber, and give a 5.0 ltr Mustang and many other fast cars a fkn damn good run for their money OR EVEN SPANK THEM...what makes a diff too is I drive it like a mad man right to the red line and beyond several times EVERY DAY for 5 years...and it runs and sounds better than ever..five stars great car!!

I didn't have the money when I bought the car to get a type-s. Trust me I looked around real hard for one, so I had to settle for a base model. But, since this video, I've added CAI, RH, and Reflash which makes the acceleration from 0-60 quicker than a type-s that has at least CAI and Exhaust paired upto it. After 60 MPH, a type-s is faster. Check out my latest acceleration vid to see it in action.

I used to have a base rsx....I remeber 3rd gear sucked too. Pretty nice acceleration. U need to hop in a type s though. I tried modding a base before. I got a type s now never looked back, huge difference. NIce video though

Shorty header and short ram intake are gone, replaced with DC Sports Race header and non-fouler, as well as ESMM inserts. Progress coilovers are coming in April

been sitting in my garage for a couple months. im from syracuse, shitty winters around here. i really dont know what else to do to it performance wise. maybe a motor swap in a couple months, but mainly just finish up the outside. the 5 spoke 17" 06 type s rims and switch out my skunk2 axle back part for a hks one or a type s axle back.

Yeah I messed up when I wrote that man, I confused myself on that one, my bad!!

But yeah back in August is when I got my reflash. I've had it since then, that same month I switched out my K&N SRI for an Injen CAI. Next Saturday on the 30th, I am getting ESMM Inserts and installing a DC race header.

So with that being said, I will upload a video of my tach's showing the acceleration sometime next weekend. I will let you know when I get that on here ;-) How's your car coming along?

Its noticeably louder, however it is not like the other exhaust systems out there which are made to sound ricey and super loud! This one is the Megan Racing OE=Original Equipment RS=Racing Series exhaust system. For $325 you can't go wrong, plus it has a nice deep tone as you heard from the video! I have a racing header on stand by and will be putting that on in the spring along with some motor mounts. I will post another vid of that so keep an eye out for it ;-)

the first mod i did to mine was a cone filter on the stock intake arm. it made the most noticable difference. i didnt really feel like the exhaust made a big increase. the race header shifted the power to the mid-high end. the hondata reflash made a small difference. id say my car came a LONG way from when ifirst bought it stock

the headers made quite a bit of difference! pretty sick rsx..just minus the cheap headlights(I'm sure you got rid of them), the stickers and the mesh grill covers..I would of def. gone with the rims last and invested the money in coil overs(stock rims are probably lighter anywho)..but keep it up man...
