in most cases this happens when you use a overclocked graphic card with bad cooling system.

higher GPU-, MEM Temp. = bigger chance to see corrupted textures (only when you cooling system is bad) :P

this happened to me but on my character selection screen when i was going back and forth between 2 accounts (2 wow windows were open ((horde one)) ) i was like a level 3 undead and the screen turned black with mist and everything was wierd and it looked like i was in china town or w/e with a stand and shit and the plants were... monkey masks/faces it was the wierdest fucking shit i'd ever seen.!~

I also had something like this, but my reason was that WoW used DirectX instead of OpenGL, yes I run WoW under Linux :D. So your problem could also be with your DirectX or openGL...

How you can get Linux? Easy, just download, install and run it, you can even just try it without installing by using the Live CD version. I recommend the Ubuntu distribution(there are many flavors of Linux). Just google Ubuntu and there it is, free to download without cost.

i dont think its a glitch... i actually think he used one of those recording devices and recorded the login screen and recorded some visual effect maybe from windows media player and then crossfaded them together making it look like a glitch... its just a way for him to get attention
