  • Bad call, but( and Im a lifetime Bills fan too), we should NEVER have let the game get to that point anyways. It WAS a bad call, but we had a LOT of other plays where we could've made more of a difference, checlk it up as a loss learn from it, and I STILL Billieve!! GO BILLS!!!

  • Apparently they are so used to Stevie Johnson dropping clutch catches they just went with it?

Before you fire bomb my house Bills fans - it was a joke!

  • the problem is this....the original call was *NOT* a incomplete...the original call was a complete, that call was overturned by the *BACK* ref....a ref 40 yards away overturned the call. So thefore the evidence to overturn a incomplete was not 100% just like it would have been to overturn a catch. I would like to know why a ref 40 yards down field was able to overturn a call from the ref 5 feet away from the catch in question.

  • What more does Johnson need to do to "finish the process of catching the football," Tasker? This one was bad - and so was the Giants game blown call. Most refs are great at their job - some are HORRIBLE.

  • The NFL will have Bills fans beleiving they lost the game because themselves and that the officiating in the league is competent. Tune in next sunday they need your business.

  • You lost the game because the Bills are terrible

  • Calls like this are why I'm seriously considering to stop watching football. The refs have too much impact on outcomes of games. In my book baseball is king.

  • clearly incomplete lol

  • Honestly one of the worst calls ever made

  • yeah wtf. the ball isn't moving at all, he 100% has possession.

  • WOW, Fuck you refs. what a bunch of stupid old cunts they are for calling that incomplete.!

  • what a pile of bull shit! okay, fine, the bills didn't play that great today, but they would have probably won had this fucked up call not been made. fuck you nfl!

  • complete BS, questionable calls all afternoon by the Vegas refs, i mean cincinatti.....spread was 3....how that doesn't get over turned is beyond me. and then give them the first down on the spot with an uncontested spot in the first place. that is so sketchy......Go Bills. The league wants you in LA, it's going to be a tough road

  • @pcburgh01 What do you mean by uncontested spot? They reviewed that play in the booth to decide where Dalton went out of bounds...

And I don't understand the Stevie call, but I completely understand why it wasn't overturned.

  • @BucsDucs99 reviewed it in the booth AFTER they measured. Why even break out the chains??? They spent all the time in the world spotting it, measuring it, didn't get the first down......but wait!! Bills can't win this game. The Stevie call was easily a catch from multiple angles. He had control the entire catch, on the way down, on the ground and back on his feet. It was clear. Irrefutable evidence was CLEARLY established and only a Cincinnati fan would defend such a call.

  • @pcburgh01 Wait, so you're trying to say that the refs should have reviewed the Stevie play and overturned the call but you're saying they shouldn't have reviewed the Dalton play at all? That makes perfect sense. At the end of the day, you couldn't see the whole catch in the Stevie replays because of the way he rolls over at the end. Meanwhile, Dalton's play was an obvious first down once you saw the replay. There was nothing to dispute on that play.

  • @BucsDucs99 Why take ten minutes to find out what the chain says only to check it upstairs. It's suspicious......that's all.....you suck as a Bills fan.

  • @BucsDucs99 no he was short on the replay nice try

  • @andrewjk2 He was short of the yellow line, but he was well past the first down marker on the sideline. Nice try.

  • @BucsDucs99 The game is decided on that catch. The ref called it from 20 yards behind the play, the league has obviously hushed it up as I am hearing NOTHING about it........I am crying foul. It's SO clear that was a catch. That first down wins Buffalo the game. Just out of nowhere, 20 yards back, behind the play a ref comes out of nowhere??? VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS!!!!

  • @pcburgh01 There's no way to prove that that wins the game if it's called a catch. There was still 9 minutes left in the game, plenty of time for things to go wrong. And you see refs come out of nowhere and make bad calls all the time. I'm a Bills fan, but I can accept the fact that we were probably dealt a bad call like pretty much every team has had happen in the past. Stevie probably did catch it, but the ref didn't think so, and the replays couldn't prove that he did catch it.

  • @BucsDucs99 seriously? "the replays couldn't prove that he did catch it." Have you seen this video? Have you seen the other angle? What more could a ref ask for? The only thing a ref would need is maybe an electron microscope to see if the ball wiggled when it hit the ground. Which, btw is still ok since his knee HIT THE GROUND FIRST which makes him down THEN. He then continued to hold the ball. The rule here ....is and always HAS been that u need to come up with the ball ..

  • @wuzup4jc He's down when his knee hits the ground if he's running and then gets tackled. When you get hit while making a catch, you have to show possession throughout the whole thing if I'm not mistaken. The way Stevie rolled over blocked the ball from view from every replay angle that they showed, so therefore, they couldn't see the entire catch, and therefore couldn't overturn the original call. Did he catch it? Probably. But probably isn't good enough to overturn a call.

  • @BucsDucs99 Yah....the replay totally prooved a catch. As clear as it could be. maybe you need glasses or are just a jaded, bitter ass of a Bills fan. BOOOOOOOO - go home. We don't want you on our side. Get with it man.....right and wrong don't matter.....support your team to the end. that's what real fans do. let the talking heads debate the particulars. GOD DAMN people like you make sports boring....without some screaming and yelling what the fuck is the point?

  • @pcburgh01 Lol sorry, didn't realize that in order to be a fan you have to cry foul if anything happens to not go your way...

  • @BucsDucs99 fan is short for fanatic. try to be more supportive of the Bills if you want to call yourself a fan. JK....Go Bills.

  • @pcburgh01 you need to be able to get up and hand the ball to the ref. Stevie did EVERYTHING right on that play. He caught the ball, tucked it away, held it firm and then stood up and handed the ball to the ref. Is it his fault that he didn't know exactly where the cameras were so he could roll the other way? Even then though..the second angle (not shown in this video) shows him holding it secure the entire time...so....to be frank....your an idiot if you think there isnt enough evidence...

  • Comment removed

  • @wuzup4jc I do think there was enough evidence. If you're calling me an idiot, I would read my post. Stevie had that catch. Even the Cinci players looked confused. Bills fan for life my friend.

  • Thank you for posting this. It will now go on my facebook as a mark of shame to the refs that handed the Bengals a win.
