Why does it matter if Simon's cat is better or not? I hate how everyone has to compare things this way. Yeah I'll admit this didn't have much of a story, but I know from trying to animate it takes FOREVER just to get like 5 seconds worth. The animation was decent for a first try, better than I did my first time.

It seems the problem here is everyone is comparing this to Simons Cat... This isn't Simon cat. It's an experimental animation, and good on this guy for giving it a try. Simons cat is brilliant inspiration and lots if people try to emulate it. My own attempt at animating a cat was fail, but for a non professional animator this is amazing. And don't slate the fact that it's slow paced... It's difficult to get the movement right, so start out simple. Bravo this is great.
