@zuishengqi Funny, blizzard didnt invent the concepts of necromancers,demons or even pale knights with glowing eyes=ubisoft have NOT copied them. But Blizzard copied the concepts of games workshops: warhammer and warhammer 40k to make Warcraft & Starcraft. ;)

@EpicFailsOnGames You clearly misunderstood me, blizzard actually wanted to pay games workshop to make theire boardgame into a video game but games workshop thought they offered too little money so they declined and instead blizzard made warcraft and starcraft that are obviously influnenced by the warhammer universe.

@ badxspectrum , about the skeletons. Personal record is still 93k. In WoG you have no skeleton limit, but you need alot of money and towns and once you reach about 25 k, you can't switch places with them, because they will disappear

The banshee is awesome, all the artwork is very good, but the vampire... and the lich... they have to look more classy, cause lich here (despite the great work of the artist) looks like some imbecile who died from starvation... with a random stick, though he must look ancient and both terrifying and wise, vampires, almost same thing . They kinda have all this fancy unneeded stuff, that makes them look like clowns, keep it classy guys, you'll never go wrong with that... ;)

I played H3 and H5. H3 I broke into pieces because I was always playing and couldn't get myself to do anything else, like have a life. And H5 I just got stuck somewhere at tribes of the east and gave up after having just finished the first game and hammers of... something.

@CRUSADERO1 I agree. I also liked HoMM3, HoMM IV (I liked several innovations such as the hero being inside battlefield) and I felt connected to them. You could have a HoMM VI, very similar to HoMM 3 in gameplay, but change the story, depth, new creatures, amazing battles and that it'll make you after 11 years to mention how HoMM VI was just awesome. It actually isn't that complicated. King's Bounty (TL, AP) battles are just what I always wanted in HoMM games :) A mixture would be awesome!

@darkshewbacca indeed the Heroes 3 art design was so HRADCORE, almost like the illustrations from a fairytale book .......*sigh* don't lie to yourself, the design in H3 was just as cartoony as this one! If you want a more dark and serious art direction check out Disciples 2 (just compare the vampires or the Ghost dragon with the Dreadwyrm, etc)!

Awesome concept art to go along (/watch?v=vjjP-eBjWCc:)) but *looks at the wyvern and the pao kai, unicorn (h3) and silver unicorn (h5), crusader and squire (H5)* they are quite similar aren't they (with H5 having more colour to go along).

Looks pretty nice. Personally I'm looking forward to another take on it. 3 was great, 4 a little weird with heroes as units but alright, 5 was pretty good but a bit overly repetitive in the campaigns between expansions.

One thing I hope they stick with is the 2 kinds of ways to upgrade your units. I think that added a good amount of extra depth to the game. The only way it didn't work was when you had more than 7 units in the field too often.

I played H3 for 3 years, and i played H4 and H5 joyfully too :). Someone screw about H5, but for me i dont want to stay with H3 forever and get no innovation. People who compare H3 vs H4 vs H5 dont understand this simple thing: They are diffrent game in the series and each one have its uique play style, they three make HoMMs gameplay become rich and joyful. If H4 H5 is like H3, so they are only H3 expansion

Support new version and so then the HoMM will still development, if not, it will die :).

Not only is H4 almost completely different from H3 but H5 borrows from both H3 and H4 game styles including modified features from both games, but really nothing new asides the 3D graphics and .. new graphics with some horrific art work..

The way those games stand, HoMM 4 is the only different game in all the series, gameplay and story wise.

Not all the artwork and their 'upgrades' look outstandingly different, they look awesomly cooler but not outstandingly different.

Like diferent scal of character, weapon or even shield.

Why not try using different armour with a significant different colour pallett.

They just dont look different enough, ones liek at 0:13

I mean I like what Ubisoft did returning to the Heroes3 style and adding 3d elements (no one can deny that Heroes 3 was by far the best game in the series) but as the years passed it's time for something new.

Heroes 3 will always be one of those games that hold a special place in my heart (and all my hard drives) but i really think that ubisoft could restore it to its former glory and maybe even bring the game to the frontlines of the gaming industry with this title, they had problems with heroes 5 but even by the time the expansions came most felt fixed, hopefully they have found what needs to be done and put enough of a budget in it to make it glorious
