Death metal wasnt really solidified until the early-mid eighties, and black metal wasn't really till mid eighties. And dont bring up venom, they aren't a black metal band. Completely removing the fact that the forms of black and death metal in the 80's is completely different to what we would call black or death metal today anyway.
