As far as the "shutdown": The budget is for 3 trillion dollars and the most they can come up with to cut is 2% or else everything has to "shut down." Than I say let it shutdown, because there should be at least 50% cut from that budget. As I understand the difference between naturalized, native born and natural born, Mr Soetoro can never be natural born, no matter where he was born because his father was from Kenya, which would have fallen under British rule at the time. At best, Mr Soetoro would have held dual citizenship at birth, which is kind of the opposite of natural born. Natural born tries to ensure no allegiences to other countries. You'll probably notice a very disproportionate interest in Ron Paul as compared to the amount of media coverage he receives vs the other candidates. You might be surprised what you find. I saw birthcertificates from hawaii when i was there and they look like NORMAL ones here in the Mainland. A Certificate with a signature form the doctor etc... Not just some slip of paper.

As far as the "shutdown": The budget is for 3 trillion dollars and the most they can come up with to cut is 2% or else everything has to "shut down." Than I say let it shutdown, because there should be at least 50% cut from that budget. Congress is basically saying that the govt. is so lean and efficient that they can only come up with 1% or 2% to cut. They have 3000 Billion dollar budget and both sides should be fired for acting like 33 or 66 billion is enough because it's nothing.

I sincerely believe that the birth certificate issue is a waste of time and money and will never get anywhere even if it is true. I believe it is very interrelated with the Muslim thing as well.I also think that a lot of it is rooted in racism. I also think Obama is an atheist or a "secular Christian", that is a Christian who goes through the motions but doesn't believe the theology. OTOH, I think if he is an atheist, that is a good thing not bad.

Demcad, isn't the birth certificate a distraction? As I understand the difference between naturalized, native born and natural born, Mr Soetoro can never be natural born, no matter where he was born because his father was from Kenya, which would have fallen under British rule at the time. At best, Mr Soetoro would have held dual citizenship at birth, which is kind of the opposite of natural born. Natural born tries to ensure no allegiences to other countries. But perhaps I am mistaken.

Hey Reginald, here's something you might want to report on. Spend some time on the Google trends website comparing the various candidates. You'll probably notice a very disproportionate interest in Ron Paul as compared to the amount of media coverage he receives vs the other candidates. There are more searches for Ron Paul but candidates with hardly anyone searching about them get 5-10x the media coverage. You might think that the media would be more in tune with what people are looking for.

You might be surprised what you find. I saw birthcertificates from hawaii when i was there and they look like NORMAL ones here in the Mainland. A Certificate with a signature form the doctor etc... Not just some slip of paper.
