  • she half columbian and indian

  • @AlyBear161

She is actually half Lebanese not Indian... that's why there is Arabic in the Spanish version of this song...

  • To everyone asking why she mentioned Bahrain and Beirut it's becasue she used to live in Bahrain she actually went to high school in Bahrain before she became famous and she mentioned Beirut becasue she's of lebanese descent.

  • mmm. . .the spanish version is so much better !! seems like she don't speak fluent english !xD

  • @Princessdarkcoffin and, do you speak english??? as far as I know, you have to say SHE DOESN'T, no she don't!

i m even pretty sure she forgot the meaning of the arabic part of ojos asi

so keep your "shaki book" for you or go play with your dora doll....

  • Tearing down windows and doors and I could not find eyes like yours <33

  • Great sOng Arbaic

  • It's not exactly fluent Arabic. The Arabic accent is impossible for foreigners to master. Even Arabic people have trouble pronouncing their own words. It's true.

  • @Nouarara Actually I'm Arabic .. & the accent is difficult to foreigners but not impossible. & We dont have any trouble pronouncing our own words. Idk where you heard that but It's not true.

  • @diana00jonas Actually, some people do, as a matter of fact. Mostly the younger ones, but yes, some do. And the fact that we hear them differently, it's like a Southern accent from Britain and a Northern one. They're slightly different.

  • @Nouarara you mean Accents. For an example Morrocan people speak a little bit differently than the most of us. & Syrians speak in a different accent. And so on. but it's pretty much the same,

  • @diana00jonas Yes, basically.

  • I speak Arabic too :) Interesting...

  • Man, What happened to this Shakira? A woman who wrote on her lessons in life, Things with meaning. Now she's just Loca Rabiosa Loba...? Shakira the belly dancer to Shakira the Pole dancer.

  • @CloudNineFairy I think that she wants to make different styles but she still some good songs.I loved her with black hair.

  • SHAKIRA ARABIC! HAHA NICE!

IM ARABIC TOO,BUT I SPEAK THE ARABIC FROM MOROCCO,NOT THE ARABIC OF LIBANON,ARABIC HAS MANY DIFFERENCES

  • my friends dance with this song :)

  • She speaks fluent Arabic.. Well in this song lol <3

  • @diana00jonas dont you know that she is from lebanon

  • @loly3434 She's Colombian .. but her father is from a Lebanese descent. She doesn't speak Arabic.

  • The Spanish version is my favorite Shakira song... didn't even know there was an English one. I like the Spanish better though. You can tell she writes in Spanish then translates to English... English just isn't as smooth and emotional as the Spanish versions are. Still cool to hear it in English though.
