  • Pearcy continues to be awesome!!! Love both Solo & Ratt

  • Love this video!

  • PEARCY IS AWESOME !!! I have hung out with him and he's very cool and still one hell of a performer!!

  • @SuperGravityFilms It's too bad we lost RC. Steven Pearcy rocks. His voice sounds every bit as good as it did in the 80's. I'd like to see him and WDM put it all back together (with an RC flavored stand in).

  • Wow. Someone's been listening to Disturbed, at least he's copying a good band though. This isn't bad. It's good to hear he's still making music. I've always loved Pearcy's voice.

  • Why the hell does he tries in this song be like James Hetfield?

  • metal-rap.....bullshit!!! pearcy should stick to what he does best....metal-rock.

  • ST^RAP THAT BASTARD ACROSS MY LAP!!!

  • the orignal gravel throat!

  • Yeah, Ste is a legend.

  • I agree. A7X's M Shadows wishes he had a voice like Ste's.

  • First of all this track is producer rather poorly! The VOX is far too low in the mix and the lead guitar sound is laughable! I'll bet Stephen still would get his dick sucked after the gig though! most likely by all the lost RATT fans who are holding on the 80's glam metal! fags! hahah

  • ok butram818 thanks for the blow by blow next time will have you set up the equipment...fuckin roadies.lmaoatyou

  • RATT fans like u tj! queer! lol

  • FUCKIN'IN YOUR FACE KICK AZZ SONG!!!

  • Yeah, this song is cool.

It reminds me of what the Detonator could have been - a return to the edgy attitude of the EP.

Those who criticize the notion of Pearcy doing a "Pantera-style" song don't realize that the EP was the first example of groove metal (well, the original '83 vinyl with the heavier tunings intact: drop B and C).

Ste's voice now is more suited to grittier material than the pop songs of Ratt's past.

The '99 LP was the breaking point of the pop sound. It's time for a change.

  • Come on guys. Quit hating on Stephen's solo stuff. I was/am a huge fan of Ratt. But Stephen's solo stuff was never meant to be Ratt in the 80s. I have this CD and I love it. I like this song a lot. Stephen continues to tour with his solo band even though he rejoined Ratt. I personally thoroughly enjoy both of these sides of the Stephen spectrum. The 80s are over- but ratt n roll lives 4ever- and Steve's solo band rocks my ass.

  • Good point.

Ste's voice, I think, is really at its best when doing this kind of edgy song.

  • Don't like this.Like Pantera gone wrong.stick to what you know Stephen.Just my opinion so don't go mad at me fans.

  • Totally agree. Stephen is not good at whatever this is supposed to be. Great at the melodic metal that made Ratt one of the best in the '80s.

  • The little bit they use for the NHRA broadcasts doesn't do this song justice!

  • This is a far cry from the successful and powerful sound from "Out of the Cellar"; their pinnacle album. Everything here sounds good, but its not very interesting to listen to, it's rather boring compared to older material.

But what can we expect? No Robin Crosby,...

  • Nice work on the video and post FX Tommy. Looks good.

    Hope all is well.

  • True and no Juan Croucier.

  • Not sure,I kind of like it- Stephen sounds good

  • Don't like this a lot, Ratt is a million times better!

  • good shit--sounds like stephen's glam crossed over to a disturbed style--I like it.

  • I like this more than Disturbed. If Ratt released a record that was a mixture of this and their EP, I'd be happy. :)

The guitars could do with having a bit more presence on this song though, maybe this could do with a lower tuning on one of the guitars.

In fact, Ratt should try using more lower tunings than the stuff they did on their recent albums. Detonator lacked the combination of B, C and D tunings that could be heard on the EP. Detonator seemed to be entirely in the tuning of E.

  • One of my all time favorite vocalists.....thumbs up to Stephen Pearcy!

  • Kick Ass! He still has some powerful vocals!

  • ratt will be in san diego august 14 coors amphtheater

  • The 2007 Ratt reunion features frontman Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini and drummer Bobby Blotzer. An official announcement regarding the status of bassist Juan Croucier is expected soon.

  • DUDE ARE THEY COMING TO SAN DIEGO

  • Athough I would like to THE TRUE RATT AGAIN. Steve, warren,Blotzer, and Croucier. And yes you too Robbie Crane. Rob Crosbby will be missed. But for Gods sake get back together and tour. The day I hear Ratt is together is way better than hearing the fag from VH with the fucked up comb over come back. Don't let these other fucked up 80's bands predect what you do. You had your own sound. No comparason. Ever!!! Miss you guys. Mark

  • Stephen will always be RATT. I'm from Rochester N.Y. There is no one who is a bigger fan of Ratt. EVER. Iv'e seen Steve many times with Ratt, Arcade, and as Stephen Pearcy of Ratt. I've met him a few times, even had a beer with him. He was way cool. Like a buddy. Wasn't stuck up ever.He still sounds great!!!

  • do you now if there are any Arcade vid's posted on here?

  • MIKE DUDA ON BASS!! SWEET!!!

  • i dont know wut the other people are on, but stephen sounds fuckin awesome in this song!

  • i agree he sounds real good rippin it up

  • I don't know what everyone's talking about, he still sounds great!

  • His voice doesn't go with that beat.

  • I think that you, Stephen, Sound Great in this! Happy Birthday SEP!

  • he wouldnt remember my name but i worked the sound crew..it was at a bar called hot shots.he was very cool..my name by the way is dave...

  • i hung out with stephen in lansing michigan in the basement of a bar during a tornado...ask him if he remembers..........
