Please, Metallica was real when I was a kid and just learning music my parents didn't like. They were incredible. By 1993, they grew tiresome. No, the remaing member obviouls are doing really well and nominated for a Grammy this year, plus they volunteer their time and money with Washigton State and Seattle's own environmental issues. Nirvana was actually a big Metallica fan way before he was super famous and had gone to Metallica shows as a guest of the band and stuff. Kurt even asked them to play their favorite song of his once and they did.
So they obviously didn't have a problem with Kurt. You don't normally invite a guy to your show and then take requests from him if you hate him and think he sucks.

Please, Metallica was real when I was a kid and just learning music my parents didn't like. They were incredible. By 1993, they grew tiresome. No, the remaing member obviouls are doing really well and nominated for a Grammy this year, plus they volunteer their time and money with Washigton State and Seattle's own environmental issues. @tjohnson161 I remember a time when I felt the same way. I started listening to Metallica back in 1984 when Ride the Lightening came out and was a huge fan. I lost interest in them after master of puppets. I loved master of puppets. But they have just slid downhill ever since I think. Sure in justice was good and so was the black album but the rest suck.
I didn't get Nirvana until last year even though I have had nevermind since it came out. I liked that album, but that was it really.

And they didn't entirely by any means but what they did I thought was really good. And then I started to like all the other albums. But that was only like a year ago. So I was a late bloomer. Our musical tastes change over time.
