With all due respect Your Holiness, but Ecumenism without the recognition from other faiths that the ONLY TRUE CHURCH of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Catholic Church, it's what is causing the problem in and outside the Church.
The social contract you are mentioning in your speech is the result of Rome allowing other religions to think they are in par with the Holy Roman Catholic Church and that is definately not the case.
