I think this is an interesting topic. You mentioned the 99 Names. Some of those names, or Aspects, may be considered Satanic if it were anyone but Allah embodying them.

But, of course, Allah gets a pass for being The Humiliator, The Harmer.

You seem to imply that The Master seems to be part of a greater whole- I think this is what Monotheism is about. The Whole.This is, admittedly,a divorce from the common understanding but understood by mystics of all the Monotheistic/Atheistic religions.

Of course, in the Koran, Satan is an entirely separate character from Allah. But, when you throw in the fact that Islam is probably the most strict of all the Monotheistic religions in regard to God's activism and use of Willpower with his creation (determining who does and doesn't embrace Islam)- it makes you wonder. Could Satan be an aspect of Allah himself? A.H. Almaas, a progressive Islamic thinker, would probably think so.

Interesting points. Another one I would add is that even if you are not a "good follower" (whatever that would mean in this context) of Satan/the Master it doesn't matter so much as you won't be punished for it by him. Perhaps a bit similar to your comment on ethics.
