Joey Culver drew my blood when I was hospitalized in November of 2010 at Ocean Springs Hospital and that is how I heard about this band. He was a real nice guy it is too bad about the guy who past away and their indifferences. Great freaking song!

If I recall, the only reason Joey sang on that album is because Derek couldn't make it due to personal issues. Even so, Slade's death completely rocked the band off its foundation, so I don't think Watership Down will be as great a band as the original was.

Pardoe is releasing a new album soon as Watership Down, with, thankfully, no Culver.

This group got started in Biloxi, Mississippi. I have their first demo. The sound quality was HORRIBLE, but I could really tell that this group had something special goin on. Especially with their catchy riffs, and their metaphoric lyrics. Anyways, Derek, who was the song writer and original lead singer quit the band for personal reasons, and Joey Culver took over. He is now with Papercut Massacre. Every song on this album rocks.

derek pardoe was the orginal singer for atomship he left they band due to personal issues all the songs were already written for the album the crash of the 47 by derek nathan and chad they needed a singer so the hired joey culver and i must say joey did a hell of a job for the only cd they put out its a great one gonna miss these guys

Atomship didnt totally break up. They did then they reformed Atomship Down. Look them up sometime... Not the same without Joey...

To bad the band is broke up now. Although the lead singer is now in a band called Papercut Massacre, and that band is pretty decent. I have to admit, this one has a better name. I have seen papercut massacre live, wish they would play Atomship song.... that would be amazing.

thier arent... nathan is busy doing sound/stage efx. i think he is wanting to get into the more technical side of music instead of being on stage. i talked to him the monday before last, and he was leaving out of state somewhere to help set up a show. i cant remember where he said though...

Yeah i've met them all i live in South Mississippi, met them before they got huge. I wish they'd get back together they were an awesome group. Great vocals, drums, guitar, and even the bass. Just an all around great group

i wish so to ... that be cool ! you know normally you get introduced to a song by some friend... but with this group i ran into the guitar player nathen, :) he was driving a cool car and me and a friend complimented on it, then he told us how he got it..... :) ever scince then been one of my fave bands THEY ROCK !

This group got started in Biloxi, Mississippi. I have their first demo. The sound quality was HORRIBLE, but I could really tell that this group had something special goin on. Especially with their catchy riffs, and their metaphoric lyrics. Anyways, Derek, who was the song writer and original lead singer quit the band for personal reasons, and Joey Culver took over. He is now with Papercut Massacre. Every song on this album rocks.

and they started on the coast of mississippi. joey is their singer and bass player and he has an amazing voice and song writing ability. they hated bein famous so they broke up. and listen to aliens and also listen to mothra and listen how fast their drummer is

I just discovered this band because the singer is from Papercut Massacre. Too bad this band disbanded though. The songs I've heard from these guys are incredible.
I hope that these guys re-unite with their old singer and get going again

even though they aren't a band anymore, I'm still a huge fan and I loved them ever since they first came out....It is a shame that we won't hear anymore of this band.....They are still popular with the locals in Mississippi...my fav song is Withered, I think that was one of the best songs written hands down..=)

I fully agree ,i think so to! I also bet if they would have put more ther music all over youtube and other places and payed a few radio stations like some other bands that got really big that way they would probably have to, a friend of mine heard them once a few years ago on the radio and loved there music but couldnt figure out who they where :( until i ran into this band and showed him...... now he listens to them all the time:)
