Sesame Street has gone to hell. My kids (ages 3 and 4) won't watch it. I turn it on and they say, "I don't WANT to watch the TV Sesame Street. Let's watch it on YouTube." Honest. They watch the 70's Burt and Ernie skits and crack up laughing. They love "Chickens In The Trees." Kermit the Frog, the old Count who didn't do the same thing every time. The old animation. Sesame Street had a great creative team in the beginning. Kids know quality when they see it.
@pellykate: It's a shame that Sesame Workshop doesn't listen to families like yours when it comes to producing the current seasons. (A couple of years ago, the producers experimented with two "old-style" episodes--a long street story interrupted by lesson clips, and no "Elmo's World" at the end. Unfortunately, those two shows disappointed the Workshop's test audience; I wonder what the results would have been if the test group included more kids like yours?)
Me too! BTTF Part II is my all-time favorite movie, in part because they had the b---- to show what the future could be, knowing most of it probably wouldn't happen. By the way, before I see it, I'll have to renew my passport--it expires on Oct. 19, 2015. :)
O_o Wow! Haha, that explains why I don't remember them. But I used to love sesame street, I have some random memories of the show. Too bad their pinball animation was before my time -_-
You ever notice that no matter what number they focus on here, between the numbers 1-12, that they keep repeating the same number over & over again, that the last number in the end is always 12? Cause they sing about the number, then just recount from 1-12, and 12 is the last number always. Isn't that weird? maybe they should count backwads, pick a number and repeat that number, and then at the end, sing backwards, and count 12-1, and 1would be the last number, cause its always first in the end.
