  • @RamblinRedNecks

    Your 95 suburban goes 700-800MPH?

    Dude.

  • My 2001 Ford Expedition with the 4.6 V8 only gets 8-10 on average in the winter. ): And it's only a 2wd. And in the summer i get about 10-15 city with some towing and 18ish highway

  • COLD START DEVICE working not properly kill the mileage giving too much advance and causing rattling.

i've noticed your truck is noisy so maybe it's your problem !

  • more boost!

  • My 95 Suburban with a 6.5 gets around 700-800 mph per tank why does yours get such bad fuel economy CW?

  • @RamblinRedNecks Good question!!!

  • im getting 16 mpg in my 91 cummins 3spd auto

  • That damage could cause you to get lower mileage. I would also switch to a better mileage tire.

  • @ncrdisabled Also change the fan clutch! I have it, but...

  • Big tires, no good for MPG. Probably has at least 3.73 gears, more likely 4.10. Your other two subs probably have 3.23 or 3.42...and smaller tires.

  • @mdk70454 They all have the same size tires, and the SF Sub has 4.10's. It's pretty redikulous! Spins 2000@70mph

  • Wow my 86 K-10 with a gas 305 gets 14 mpg with a carb .

  • Ok I think I know why your getting such poor mileage..those oversized tires are most likely the cause because it's something to do with smaller tires equals better mpg while bigger tires equals less mpg...I think because of rolling resistance? not totally sure been years since i read that tech article about the effects of larger tires vs smaller tires for mpg differences

  • Man that is bad mileage. My 03 blazer gets 13 mpg which is horrible. Supposed to get 16 -19 on highway. Gotta be somthing wrong with it. Oh well.

  • I think something is wrong with the sub. It shouldn't get that bad with winter. Hows your injection pump and injectors?

  • @OnusofStrife Prolly injectors, I'll get new ones

  • @CORVAIRWILD Get ones that are pressure tested. They test them and make sure they all pop around the same psi.

  • why are you getting horrid mileage?! Oh and Duramaxes arent junk... I drive one usually every day for work. Tough engines! Started in -36 without a block heater!

  • i see oil on that dented intercooler, i bet it's leaking and loosing boost.

  • @mjmcomputers It's def leaking. Keeerunch!!!

  • Wow that is poor fuel mileage.

  • New intercooler time

  • Might have a nice boost leak from the intercooler.

  • this thing isn't running right....I mean >22 l/100km is more than a 454 big block gas engine

  • @09ICCE200 if your referring to trailers etc the 1.9tdi should handle it no problem, even the touareg that was in the video was probably a 3.0 tdi, that will acheive 50+ mpg

  • thats alot of money for gas -- dang

  • I found out yesterday that Rovers North is just over the other side of Lake Champlain from you, might be worth a look if you're in the area, get to see lots of interesting non-Chevy teeruks!

  • somethings wrong!! Exclamation Maarrrrrrkkkkkk !

  • That is pretty bad mpg.... At least your showing real MPG not telling tails like most on the web do..... Its a heavy truck it is going to get bad mpg's no matter what but I would of thought it would get in the teens.

  • @84400 Yup, should be 15 at least!

  • you should protect it. first

  • Unload the junk! MPG may pickup a little.

  • i think thats absolutely insane cw, i get 55mpg+ in my golf 1.9 tdi mk4 with -1c weather, not as cold as your weather, you really need to get a volkswagen diesel in your life lol

  • @GoodnightMrDoback good luck hauling things. this is america, the only real diesels here are V8s, with the occasional Cummins 6.7L I6.

  • @09ICCE200 the cummins i6 5.9 is the best engine out there just its in a really bad truck :(

  • @alanack67 once i get the cash in a few years im gonna pick me up an old sfa chevy truck and drop a 24v in it

  • @09ICCE200 i want to do it to my 1987 chevy k10 drop k30 axles in get a early 90s 12v so i dont have any computers and it the 12v is better because the 24v head is prone to cracking but they are both awesome motors. YOu will need a complete parts doner truck to do this im looking for one now. It all comes down to the dollar in the end

  • @GoodnightMrDoback Don't forget they have much smaller gallons than we do here in the UK!

    41 gal(US) = 34.1396 gal(UK)

But...If CW filled up the same amount of fuel over here it would be roughly $418...He'd go broke in a month...haha!!! :)
