  • I'm planning on making survival videos, so thanks for the advice.

  • What kind of watch is he wearing?

  • you could use branches full of leaves i break branches off the trees and then put them on my shelter

  • Rule of 3 survive 3 hours without shelter? I thought the rule of 3 was 3 minutes without oxygen, 3 days without water, and 3 weeks with out food..

  • @joshrussell357 it is indeed.

  • Thank You for making these videos. They were very helpful.

  • @lonelykatana fire

  • I HAVE AN INVENTION THAT I'VE BEEN SITTING ON FOR YEARS BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS TO BUILD IT... I AM A RETIRED ELECTRICIAN 30 PLUS YEARS.... I CAN MAKE A GENERATOR TO POWER A HOME WITHOUT ANY OUTSIDE FUEL SOURCE. IT'S A SAD SHAME WITH ALL THIS GOING ON AND I DON'T HAVE THE MEANS TO MANUFACTURE THIS IDEA.I AM ONLY AN ELECTRICIAN NOT AN ENGINEER... THINK WHAT KIND OF KNOWLEDGE IS OUT THERE IF 'ME' JUST BEING AN ELECTRIAN CAN COME UP WITH WHAT I HAVE... ANYONE WANT TO HELP?

  • @donaldda THIS GENERATOR WILL WORK WITHOUT WIND, SOLAR, GAS, STEAM OR WATER... ALL I NEED IS SOMEONE WHO WILL HELP ME WITH THE FINANCES... THE ONLY THING I WANT FROM IT IS ONE FOR MYSELF... I'LL GIVE AWAY ALL MY RIGHTS TO IT... AFTER I GET ME ONE...

I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT POSTING ON LINE BEFORE FOR HELP IN THIS INVENTION... AFTER THE INITIAL COST OF THE UNIT... ELECTRICITY WILL BE FREE AND IN MOST AREAS SOLD BACK TO THE ELECTRICAL COMPANIES.. great for wilderness homes.

  • great survival tip videos. keep it up.

  • Great video. Thanks.

  • @lonelykatana no. shelter first, ALWAYS, whether against the cold wind in the winter, or rain, or blazing desert suns (in deserts obviously), second priority is fire, or water, depending on area. if water is available but needs to be boiled to be 100% safe to drink, then its obvious which of the 2 comes first, and then comes food. plan for rescue? nope. stay put unless you know exactly which way to go.

  • @Saint305XL certain insects bites can not only be dangerous but lethal buddy!

  • tht tree has a pretty good sized dick

  • what about the risk of insects when you build a shelter this way? wouldnt this run the risk of drawing them in or them being in the debris you gathered?

  • I just emailed this video to 3 women in Teresopolis, Brazil, who are victims of mudslides that occurred in January 2011. They are staying at a church and trying to move into the woods. It got down to about 40 degrees(8 centrigrade) last night, and a homeless person died of hypothermia on the street last night. I am trying to give them simple ideas on how to insulate themselves better--such as stuffing leaves in their jackets. Good practical video. Thanks.

  • im sure i can survive naked for 3 hours in the woods?

  • @dillonjbritt 3 hours until what? You find civilization? What if you're 50 hours away from anyone, in the wilderness...and it's pouring rain and 40 degrees outside? You wouldn't last long naked that way...he's not talking about just some sunny weather and 70 degree temps. He's talking about hypothermia...not sure how you missed that. After 3 hours, when you're lost in the woods...clothes don't just reappear.

  • @jmr1068204 i think he said a bee can only survive three hours without shelter

  • @dillonjbritt try that in the sahara.. bet you will be so burned you just WANT to die.

  • To tell the truth, surviving in the wilderness is not really that hard. If you have to survive for weeks or months it`s a different story, but if you got lost and just have to stay the night, then its rather simple.

  • @xenomann442 we call that camping

  • @xenomann442 .. hmm I would have to disagree.. there are so many variables involved.. calling it easy for just one night can be hard as well.. again it depends on so many factors...

  • I live in canada and of course our winters can be very cold and very windy... What then bud?

  • @whygod1105 Just make pretty much the same thing except with pine needles. If your hiking in the woods during the winter, I would assume you are already dressed relatively warm. So with this added shelter you should be fine.

If not then there are other shelters for winter usage :P

  • @whygod1105 build a snow shelter.

  • you suck trails

    fuck trails

  • @Ragzz1234 wht did trails do ??

  • Bring a tent. ALL these fools who bring 200 dollar water filter and a tarp are IDIOTS

They want to be in a survival situation and do this tarp thing on purpose.

  • @LastStealthCamper nah, tarps are just lighter and multi purpose, tents can be extremely encumbering(if youre walking)

  • did you destroy that after you were done with this vid???? huh mr. nature man did you??????????? jk dude good video

  • Dry leaves are sometimes hard to come by when you neeed them most, during cold, snowy, rainy days/ nights! What do you do then?

  • Ah, the classic lean-to. I Had a similar design once.

  • nice we used this to make a fort, now we actualy sortof can live down there

  • excellent videos. No unnecesary comments. Thank you.

  • @comomegustalamusica I thought the same thing. Nice, wish all videos were like this.
