Delacroix's work is universal. A beautiful pause in a Canadian day! Speaking of pauses you can see a very short video of the painting I did this summer. If your a cat lover you will for sure. I was sent different photos of two cats, which I consolidated into one painting. Hope you like it.
@adri1430@gfks11 - the works of Delacroix somehow appeared quite well under the music of Chopin... Thanks Adriana ... I suspect Judy will like it. it's a good video. Needless to say, it appears very emotional to me
@sonson9 mierda la que te comes a diario, como te atreves a insultar el trabajo de alguien tan telentoso como delacroix? seguramente jamas, pero jamas tendras su talento, ni su fama, y nunca seras tan grande. ¡Pudrete!
The choice of the serenely lyrical Chopin piece to go with the turbulent, dramatic images of Delacroix is surprising to me, but effective. I would never have thought of them together, yet it really works. And I always appreciate so much that you list all your sources in your info. Well done!!!
Very nice, Phillip. I wasn't familiar with Delacroix before this as I am fairly stuck in the pre-raphaelite period myself. Thanks for sharing with me. Question: doing any more morphing, or is that become old? You were/are so good at that...just asking. Celeste
Great video... my favourite paintings are "girl seated in a cementery" and "mad woman". Two impressive portrait. I can't forget that two expressions in her faces.
What a wonderful interlude on my Sunday afternoon in Greece. I was reminded not only of Delacroix's affection for Ellada, but of my days spent in History of Art classes at Michigan State University. I had seen all of Delacroix's works in various museums, but never the drawing of Aspasia. Thank you for your elegant work Philip. Greetings from Sunny Agios Nikolaos, Anavyssos, Greece

The juxtaposition of the fiery work of Delacroix and the peaceful Chopin makes a great mix
