The point of a virus is to propagate, it can't propagate on a system so few people use. When people turn their attention to a mac, it's actually easier to hack than a well protected MS PC.

Believe it or not most of malware out there is poorly coded and pretty easy to remove. This is in part due to the fact that most of this crap is put together by people who aren't hard core hackers. Using tools like netstat, having a decent firewall and mse is all you really need.That and updates....it's still a shame though that you need to have a network security background to protect yourself. : ( maybe you people who don't understand should give up.

i just got the anti spy ware pro it is a fake anti spy ware program that pops up message saying that everything is infected and when i close the window that the message is in it goes to a porn site that try to download harmful stuff on your computer and when you try to install a real anti spy ware program like avg it closes the installation process but i finally disabled it for a while to get avg installed and then when the message poped up avg closed the browser and block the site

For those who are looking for a good antivirus and syware program my advice is just buy one and only one. FREE programs just find problems they don't fix them. Use extreme caution when download and using a free one. I have tried a lot of them and there are too many bad ones out there. Good ones are far and few.
