We have a 10 year old bulldog. He's been on Iam's dog food and he's very active. Seems the food (dry not wet) has the right vitamins for this breed. Also, this breed suffers from Heart problems and hip displacement problems. Absolutely no table scraps because they also suffer from weight problems. Good Luck.

He is not fat at all in bulldog standard. He is just taller than his kind with a big bone. BTW, oftentimes we have to beg him to eat. He is not really into eating.

I have an English Bulldog and although yours does seem to have a large frame, a diet (or maybe switching dogfood) may be beneficial. My bulldog is now going on 13 years and in bulldog standards that is ancient... I'm not trying to be mean or offensive, just some advice.... You can take it or leave it.

@hsienhsinlee since i got my English bulldogs ( one has 9 months and the other 4 months ) i think i wasted around 3000€ in vet taking care of problems. Dry eye was the last one, i will get them operated in 2 weeks. Its expensive but it compensates =)
