Here in France, my spouse just passed by on his way out, and saw the big orangeish house, and muttered, "Ugly!" They really are. Sad landscape. Should have been left in its natural state. Uprated.

@wilatemodel Oh, there are plenty of ugly homes here, all right! The new ones are largely dreadful. If I see any more beige stucco, I think I'll go into some kind of aesthetic fit or something! You know, French home and apartment interiors are usually in extremely poor taste, also. Some of it's kind of funny, but you reach your limit. I did like Florida but just for a visit. I found the people really nice! It's wrong to generalize, but . . . that's what I found, anyway. xo

@wilatemodel The French also seem to have totally missed out on the concept of "comfort." It seems to just not be in their DNA somehow. The Italians can do it, the Brits, the Scottish, the Icelandics . . . I dunno! The French tend to be super tiny, however. I guess I am not on their "scale" somehow? I'm only about 5 feet tall but tower over both my inlaws here!

It's weird here in FL like in your video they paved miles and miles of road to buld new houses that never went up... but now you can barely see the roads because of the overgrowth. Plants, trees, grass grow quickly here like a jungle. Again, very sad.

@EconCat88 The farther away from the political center you move, the more votes you lose, and Ron Paul is nowhere near the centre, so if he runs as an independent GOP candiate, he will split the GOP vote and Obama will win again.
