  • I come back to there videos for that old keyboard sound... Click Click Tap! I takes me back to my childhood!

  • Did you ever figure out if it was your soundcard? Or is it the frame-rate the video is captured in?

  • Instead of copying only the specific files, why not replace the entire system32 folder? It would kill a lot of malware? Why not even all the system files apart from docs and settings?

  • yeaaa man..+3 for ur videos.. more more more ^.^

  • I know you do these vids just for demo purposes, but some people commented using this to fix post infections is the wrong message. Backup, format, reinstall and restore! The whole point is to prevent attacks, not waste time cleaning up after them.

I don't understand how people can expect ANY anti-virus package to fix a system AFTER an infection of this nature. Especially when rootkits such as this patch kernel mode drivers that would require a reinstall of the OS to remove them.

  • look at 6:58 it looks like something is wrong with the antivirus and antispyware protection

  • I have got an eset 4 antivirus. It's cool! When i will click computer scan it will found every virus in my PC in a second. It's my fave antivirus.

  • guys see my video 'how to install ESET Smart Security 4' if it will works to you -_-

  • saai im sorry i NL

  • man iset smar security or KAspersky Internet S2011

  • hi is VB WinFix 1.2 option explicit software only for xp? thanks

  • took time off to fix your computer problem??? I like how windows boxes have controlled our lives more than we think- thanks for the post- enjoyed your video

just installed ESET on a XP Home -1800 AMD -740MB- regained all my system resources- and I've tried just about everything- was skeptikal about this- but it's a keeper- will know after my trial period- also gonna checkout your DefenseWall- sounds like a good product

  • Lol i love your loging username. We have an I.D 10T Error.

  • I want that background.

  • 05:44 lol i just noticed the umbrella icon from resident evil O.O

  • So, you try to catch as much crap as you can on a virtual PC and then try to fix it with different antiviruses for your reviews?

  • Eset Smart Security 4.2 + Malwarebytes #FTW

  • @YourOwnDumbAss

    hell YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! #FTW

  • @YourOwnDumbAss For a dumbass you're smart.

  • @rahmanroni Thanks but we all know that ESET Smart Security + Malwarebytes is the only 2 security software's you will truly need unless your one of those dumbasses that always downloads shit and doesn't pay attention to what that dumbass is downloading. Really, no one should ever need these softwares but we all know when it comes to teh interwebz/torrents, there will be those who don't ever use COMMON SENSE anymore.

    Nothing further......

  • hey matt i have a question about esets firewall logs

i keep getting incorrect ip packet

    and ARP cache poisoning attacks

    can you help me out?

  • I think I'm beginning to see that Eset

NOD32 is superior to Norton AV 2010.

  • Its not the audio lol, its the sound card saying look dude your taking too fucking LONG and I'm TIRED! lmao.

  • how do you fix the task manager after the cleanup? ive bin trying to fix that for a month now,im runing windows xp

  • its not ment to be exciting lol hes trying to educate people

  • i dont get bored watchingggg...

  • Yes i agree they are addicting!

  • lol i dont know but your videos are addicting like crack Lol

  • they are lol

  • Would this software be good if your computer is not yet heavily infected, but need an internet security suite that is more effective. I ok with computers, norton, kaspersky, bit defender, and norton 360 are pretty easy for my to set up for the most part.

  • your not boring i enjoy your videos you kill time

  • i'm addicted 2 ESET xD

  • @TaTyTu777 same here

  • mrizos

you have no idea how many things i've learned from this video.

    keep up the good work

my eyes are watching your channel updates

  • one of the reason i use nod32 is because its like the only antivirus that can block conficker.

remember nod32 can only stop it when it tries to go on your computer if its already on then you install it somehow your fked in the a =P

  • Matt haha icon of your start menu is like a nuke lol

  • what a username - "idiot" roflmao, nice l33t style

  • hey Matt i see you have WgaTray.exe

    and WgaLogon.dll

  • uhh ESET nod32 stopped 36 viruses from installing on my pc...and yes there all the conflicker =P. It was on Ipods, phones, flash drivers exc but it took em off and fucked there asses!

  • haha!!

i wish i can see nod32 message when cleaning viruses saying ( 34 viruses have been cleaned and fucked in the asses)

    that would be nice.

  • i have ess 3 and it works great it crashed once just reinstalled my os (i already planned to do it so i did it)

and it blocked a few attacks without much trouble few trojans few agents and that shitt

  • failed to rescue Matt but im sure you agree its protection against malware is remarkably high

  • i have zhis now :D

  • My first thoughts were 'why would you install an antivirus on an already infected PC'? Antivirus programs work best on non-infected PC's -- stopping malware BEFORE they take hold of the system. This review would have been better if he hammered the system with viruses/trojans/rootkits after installing the program.

  • Using NOD32 before you're 'this' infected will make sure you never get infected. It's almost fun watching NOD32 pick up viruses and clean them because it's so easy and it's basically the best

  • Alot of people miss the point of ant malware programs, which is to keep the system running clean long enough so that you can use your pc, not so that you never have to reinstall windows and most likely it will have to be reinstalled eventually, a clean backup image makes that job much easier. There needs to be better anti-malware solutions available, or you'd have to reimage at a much more frequent rate; the day u have to reimage every day to keep a clean pc is the day malware has won.

  • Eh I disagree. See my post above. "If you use nod32 before you infect it with heavy malware, it will stop the whole thing at it's beginning." I don't see why anyone would use anything else

  • I think this like all anivirus' suck;

HIPS products are the future. just trap everything in a sandbox and delete the sandbox, period done. Keep the system running in a stable state longer than antivirus'. But also there should be something said about reimaging the system from a clean image, everyone should be doing this, create a clean image and reimage every couple or few months. Also virtualization, browse the web in a virtual machine and don't save changes.

  • lol look at the start logo its yellow and black

  • Hmmm..OK...Eset failed to rescue my pc from PC.

  • err I meant malware

  • @mrizos

do a review on brand new ESS v4.2.40...i been asking you to but u never did...

  • @Furiouz7 Its basically the same thing as this version. ESS is a really solid program.

  • Ok, Lets see you upload 200 reviews like this guy and all of them have a 5 star rating.

  • great work!! thank!! hahahaaaaaaaaaa..that was hilarious man..funny malware..oh jeah..I went from avira to kaspersky 8 and it kinda feels much more secure!! but I'm also exited about avira 9!! So that, sir, is up to you than..see ya ; )

  • in order to reset the tcp/ip stack you can use netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt in the command line in order to do so rather than a third party utility. You could copy the log from another computer too.

  • Laggggggggg :(

  • The video in this lags by about 30 seconds

  • It's not fair ! test eset the same like you tested other anti-malware program in the past...

  • Comment removed

  • yesh low false positives and low malware detection..,

  • In the past i have always used ESET but now for some time i use Kaspersky and its great

    Eset is also great

keep up with great work :)

  • matt any chance you could do a video on how to clean up after an infection? could be a handy little video thxs

  • Nice video..I was Waiting for this :)

  • In my opinion, Eset was not totally effective on removing malware. It could be much more better.

  • yeah, they don't know how to speak english!!

  • MAN why don't u go to safe mode and scan????

  • Hi Matt :-)

I have to say that I think you should not do a review when you are tired and pressed. I found this review to be very confusing and unclear. i don't know what to make of ESET after viewing this review. This review lacks your usually clarity. Please make a Part 3 to better explain/illustrate the abilities of ESET 4. I believe you owe that to ESET and to your perhaps not so tech-savy fans such as my self..

  • ESET rocks at prevention.

  • took you over 30+mins to even scan

  • Am I first?

I don't know what to do here.

    I like turtles! YEA!!
