I have a picture she autographed for my father when he was in the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA. He was paralized and spent 9 years in that hospital before he died in 1971. So she apparently did some very nice things on the side.

There was a DVD that came out with Ed Morrow's "Person-To-Person" interviews that he did in the 50's with celebrities - and he interviews Linkletter with his kids in their home. Diane Linkletter is about 6 in that interview and is adorable... which makes you sad when you remember how things turned out for her.

Nope. No drugs were found in her system. She was depressed and committed suicide. Her dad blamed it on LSD, and made money off her death.
