From what I understand the prophet Mohammed claimed his lineage to Abraham thru Nebaioth, Abraham's grandson via Ishmael, Abraham's first son who also obtained the blessing of the promises God made to Abraham before Isaac was born, as did the other sons of Abraham born unto his concubines. Isaac obtained the promise of the line that would bring the redeemer. This was before Christ came to redeem us from the curse of sin. The point of the video is about loving or not loving someone-- Nelson is saying that Allah is God, which is wrong. Part of loving others is telling them the truth not telling them the false god they worship is the true God. Compare Allah to the God of the bible and see the huge difference. I say this not because Christianity is a violent religion, I would not be an active member if it were so. There are other people, including Muslims who have not yet accepted Christ. There is a commonality between Christians and Muslims because we both believe in a higher power. Did D. Nelson have an agenda in his sermon? Yes, I think so, the Great Commission as spoken of in Matthew 28:15-17. Christians have had a hard time with converting but Christ said ALL the World Muslims included.

How is Pastor Nelson catering to other gods here? How do you believe based on the Great Commission that Christ outlined, we reach Muslims and bring them to Christ?

The Muslims reject Christ as the Son of God and the Saviour of the world they believe He is only a prophet. Allah is a pagan moon god with no son. Allah is not another name for Yaweh that is how is how Nelson catering other god's

... so I looked up what Allah means in Arabic and it means "Almighty God." Isnt that what we call God in Isa 9:6? Arabs speak arabic not english. So I have a friend who was the principal of an academy in Egypt and he said that arabic Adventists say Allah since that is how you say "God" in arabic. There is a big difference between saying Allah is God, and that the Allah of some Muslims is the same as God. It has to do with character of quran allah, and real allah.

Ask any Muslim if Allah has a son? They will say no so Allah is not God-- God's name is Yahweh not Allah

I could do that, or I could ask any Arab. The answers would be largely different since the Allah of Christianity and the Allah of the Quran are different. But the word "Allah" still means Almighty God, no matter what way you look at it. They don't speak English you know. So it wouldnt make sense to call Him God. And I have several friends who are Arabic, and used to be Muslim and they all agree that Elohim in Hebrew is Allah in Arabic.

In fact, it is kinda funny that the title of this post is "Dwight Nelson teaches that Allah is God" because it makes it sound like what he is saying is a problem. But it might as well ready "Dwight Nelson teaches that Allah is Allah" or that "God is God."

I watched this video through. It alarmed me. So I watched the sermon all the way through. I am having a hard time seeing that what this video says he meant is what his sermon says he meant. Here it sounds like he is saying that Allah as spoken of in the Quran is God, and that Islam in a true religion of God, and then that Mohammed then would be a true prophet. But when I watched the sermon, he doesnt seem to be saying any of these things.

All one needs to do is to reasearch how to reach the hightest level in Free Mason the Koran is used as part of the initiation process. I remember how the SDA church has tried to portray Islam as a "religion of peace" after the 9/11 event. I happened to have a copy of the Koran given to me by a friend and found it is not a religion of peace.

Isaiah 29:11, 12 is being fulfilled in the church. No one in the SDA church has an excuse. They will be judged for what they could have known but were ignorant on purpose.
