  • this is a bullet hell dodger.awesome!!!

  • just a couple more shots!

  • Nice safespotting there. I tried most of these in YGS2000 and it didn't work.

  • omg.... the last boss pattern was INSANE

i would just freak out -.-

  • Woah! :O And I thought progear was the sickest shmup!Do they have this in Mame or in any other emulator??? I want to try this shit out!!!! This game makes strikers 3 look like a wimp....

  • Well, it's a PS2 game (at least, it was an arcade game ported to PS2). If you wanna try and use a PS2 emulator, go ahead. I personally put the ROM on a DVD, then played it on my (modded) PS2. It's a ridiculous amount of fun. :D

  • YOu guys know how fast your brain has to calculate? i couldn't do what this guys is doing,

    amazing

  • No, we don't know.

But much faster than on your regular day! :D

  • This goes for everyone that's freaking out over this video. In the video shown the player is on "Ultra" difficulty, aka the highest difficulty you can choose. This mode is considered extremely difficult and obviously would be frustrating for new players. There are 2 lesser difficulties in the game which are perfect for novices and experts alike. Contrary to what these videos may show this game is extremely fun, one of the most fun shmups that I've ever played.

  • that don't make no damn sense.

  • Your mom must be proud of you.

  • I really hope for you that your mom is proud of you, too ;0

    Awesome work maco!

  • She is

  • OH MAH GAWD

  • this game is just sick, looks mesmerizing

everyone who plays this game without brainexplosion should called superior human being

  • It sucks that the PS2 version has so many slow down issues compared to the arcade.

Whatever, you take what you can get, and I'm not going to Japan any time soon just to play the arcade version with slightly less slowdowns.

  • Maniac mode on the PS2 has less slowdown than the arcade version, but Ultra mode has more.

  • @Blaxxx2

it makes level 3+ an easy game cuz its like 5fps on my octocore(and the ps2)

  • this game looks like "raiden fighters" on steroids

  • while this is insanely impressive, this game always makes me mad. obviously there is only one or maybe two maximum routes through those laser storms. so why the hell use the lasers? why not just make it a tight canyon that you have to fly through or something?

  • Lol, what? It's likely I play games less than you.

  • the game is hard man but its short with only 5stages. the only way to get good at it is to memorize the dodging, it doesnt take a lifetime to do that (im not saying its easy being that i can barely do the original mode in this gmae).

  • @mypassispassword Go kill yourself.

  • What is this rated?

  • Rated?

  • like in canada there is rated E E10 T M and AO

  • Sorry it's took me so long to reply, I've had PC problems.

Anyway, the game was only released in Japan and got a CERO All rating, which is similar to the E rating.

  • in the animé Bleach, a Cero is a blast that can pretty much pwn your face off...i firmly believe a CERO rating is befitting of this game as it has pwnd my face off many many times O_O

  • Can you buy this on PS2 in the US?

  • No, Japan only.

  • i got a copy for sale

  • I'm gonna go put a hat on, just so I can take it off. Amazing dude!

  • i think u aren't human O.O

  • maco, stop making these videos, you are making me look bad XD

  • cool video, insane dodging on the last stage 5 boss pattern.

    @supersmash43

There's a sequel called Mushihime Sama Futari, but it hasn't been ported to any consoles.

  • Is this the only game in the series?

  • this game looks fantastic

I wish I could play it

    meanwhile I'll stick to dodonpachi @_@ !

  • does this track come from mushihime sama OST ?

  • Yes, it's the stage 5 boss track.

  • I've played Mushi for 50+ hours and some of those maneuvers look rather easy, but it'd take a lot of practice to get some of them right.

    You're really talented.

  • Yeah you're right, some are quite easy. Dodging the last pattern of the stage 5 boss is annoying though, and the safe spot on the stage 4 boss is much harder to do on the Maniac version.
