So is PCR is used to find out who the father is? What else is it used for?

@toshibacoast It can be used for detection of very samll amounts of bacteria and viruses, e.g detection of HIV 1 , amplification of DNA in arechaeological samples, monitoring of cancer chemiotherapy, identification of matching DNA in forensic specimens

It would help if some explanation of what the purpose of this particular protocol is, how it works (how it differs from ordinary PCR) and what the interpretation shown at the end means.

HemochromaStrip is a test designed for the detection of three point mutations/genetic variants of HFE gene associated with hemochromatosis: C828Y, H63D and S65C... I did copy that off a website but I can't post the link. Just google "HemochromaStrip" and you'll find it.
