YEARS AGO I WENT TO WATCH AN INTERNATIONAL MOVIE CALLD... "STEAL",,THE CINEMA WAS PACKED WITH ALL RACES...NOW IM SUPRISED WHEN THE SAME ACTION IS PERFOMED BY OUR LOCAL ACTORS WE GOT SUMTHING TO SAY...LETS SUPPORT OUR LOCAL ACTORS NOT CRITICISE THEM
If it south African, it sends the wrong message to the youth and if it's American then it's fine and we support it...why can't you just let our people make money without making them feel guilty?
I watched this film at this years DIFF, I have to admitt it was a good movie with the big stars of South Africa. However, I feel that is what also was the films downfall. Menzi Ngubane should have shone in this film but never did because there were too many stars but other than that, great movie
@8888ACE8888 the film is not made for the youth...it has a age restirction of 16VL
movies are not all made to progress the youth...it is just a film, like many others out there, made of entertainment. I feel that its is very unfair of you to judge the film by the way you think the "youth" would perceive it in this country. By the way...compared to the things you can watch on TV these days, this is mild..
@MrSooperman25 ja I agree with you, knowing the past is all fine, nothing wrong with it ... but we need some new stories to tell aswell. Especially if we want international audiences to watch our movies, I mean they're all bored to death with our history anyway
Even though the South African struggle is an integral part of our lives. It is good to see that film makers have moved from making movies about the struggle and the police in sjambocks. The next step is to have different faces on our potential blockbusters. eg. I think Papa Action would have also played the Menzi Ngubane character exceptionally well. We've seen Menzi and Rapulana play bad guys for a while now.
I'VE NEVER WATCH THIS MOVIE BUT THE WAY I HEAR PEOPLE PROMOTING THIS MOVIE, IT MIGHT BE A VERY INTERESTING MOVIE OF SOUTH AFRICAN STARS

Hmm the trailer is well made but i think the old man needs to be more dramatic about holding the gun even though he is a good actor!

@teefnurse Movies have an effect on the youth either way and since when has an age restriction ever stopped the youth from seeing a movie?

@8888ACE8888 if it were American I am sure you would not be saying that hey? I am sure you went with your kids to watch Oceans 11, 12 and 13

@8888ACE8888 In that case, why do we watch international movies whilst we got up and coming movie directors of our beautiful country, South Africa?
