Anime DVD Collection Update September 15th, 2010

where could i find the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya dvd could i get it at walmart

I would guess not, but mostly because Wal-Marts I've visited don't have very big selections. Mostly very main-stream stuff, although I've probably been surprised by a couple titles here and there.

Best Buy might work, but I think they're reducing the number of anime DVDs the keep in-store. Some may even be completely eliminating them. However, you should be able to check if they're carrying it via their website.

Right now, buying online is the surefire way to go.

@Gigafrosty i hate how where i live the selection of anime dvd is so little their getting rid of the stock at bestbuy fye closed at the mall and the only store where i buy most of my anime dvds is like a hour drive away from my house or i order via ebay and rightstuf

I probably wouldn't give a review in my videos since I won't be watching it again any time soon. (Too many things to watch right now.)

But, in a nutshell, it's never been released on DVD. I downloaded and watched it many years ago. At that time it annoyed me but now that I've seen a lot more anime I want to watch it again and come up with a more thorough opinion on why I thought that.

But, again, I'm far too behind on DVDs I need to watch to spend time on that.

How was the eng dub of Ghost Hound? Was the disc that came with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya a soundtrack disc?

I only verified there was a dub before uploading to my media server. I'd love to rewatch it to get an opinion on the dub, but I've got far too many other anime to watch. That and I really need to finish the last three Urusei Yatsura movies so I can return those DVDs to their upright stance and adjust stuff in that shelf.

There were two songs on that CD. I assume the Opening and Ending songs, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet to make sure.

The Right Stuf says it's a hybrid disc so that means dubbed, although I'm not at home to verify right now. The Right Stuf tends to get it right, though.

The thing in Hetalia is a bandana^^ It has all the Axis Powers and in Part 2 it will have the Allied Powers^^ (BECOME ONE WITH MOTHER RUSSIA >=))

In this update, only Dai-Guard and Variable Geo came from The Right Stuf.

DBZ Kai, Corpse Princess, Golgo 13, Haruhi Suzumiya, Hetalia, and Ghost Hound came from Amazon. Next-day shipping ordered on the day of release. (If you want to know why I do this, I could try and explain.)

Trouble Chocolate, Princess Nine, Air Master, and Descendants of Darkness were all bought from random companies through Amazon, (mostly GoHastings.)
