I had almost the same incident with coins that I retail on Ebay. Storagewarsdenver (user name) demanded more than what was advertised under threat of "tarnishing my feedback" I was rated 100%. When I cancelled the sale at his request(i refunded him) he left negative feedback anyway. I contacted Ebay and forwarded all his abusive emails (8) after refunding him. Ebay would do nothing..He is a total scammer!! Ebays policies suck..No protection for their most valuable assett, The Seller!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there are an equal number of bad buyers & bad sellers on eBay. Sellers should look at a bidder's feedback record. This guitar buyer may have a history of leaving nit-picky negative feedbacks. The buyer clearly looked for any small detail to complain about. Kinda like when someone is selling a car, they highlight all of the selling points. A buyer who is trying to drive the asking price down, will look for any slight details that he can point out to bring the price down.

When ever i get scammers trying to tell me i mis-sold a product, i ask them to send it back in the same condition sold and ill pay the postage and give tjhem a full refund. They never do. I think the fact you cant leave neg feedback for buyers is about the stupidist thing i ever saw. its sad but it is possible the buyer simply didnt pay attention to the volume nobs in the video i say that because i might have made the same mistake

Dude! as the guitar was originally $650 and you let it go for $400... you should of mentioned the fact that you was generous enough to lower the price for him so that the situation could have been negociated.

the buyer should had realized he was privillaged enough to get the guitar with his offer of $400, let alone asking for an extra $50. That bnicer guy is a scumbag!

i sold some dvds on ebay to some guy who claimed they weren't the genuine copies. he threatened me with neg feedback too. he's likely copied the dvds or dumped them on his PC.

funny thing is he's using his positive buyer feedback to reassure me that he's not a scammer. since buyers can't be left negative feedback, that means absolutely nothing.
