Great enthusiasm, horrible choices in coffee. There's a reason you will never see Starbucks on coffeereview(dot)com or any serious coffee forum. They used to make awesome coffee back in the early 2000's and before but its so damn horrible nowadays. There's a reason why McDonalds and Dunkin donuts are outselling charbucks, its because they are using superior companies/roasting techniques and beans. Green Mountain Coffee, Intelligentsia, Counter Culture, Klatch and so on.
@pr0n3 Interesting points. I recently wrote an article with why I include Starbucks in the coffee discussion, it's on our homepage at CoffeeCupNewsDOTorg I enjoy all the coffee companies you just mentioned very much.
love your knowledge/enthusiasm and the channel.... Never thought about my coffee too much before watching your videos.. Also didn't know how to properly taste coffee.. didn't think there was a specific way.. Anyway.. I am certainly not a
connoisseur of coffee but will definitely be trying out the technique next time around.
Not a big fan of Starbucks roasts. They taste really burnt and have a unleasant aftertaste that lasts awhile. I prefer to have a fruity coffee for regular coffee in general.
