Kelvin is a great football player, he also had excellent consistent blockers which helped him out. Some shown at 3:28, #3 at 3:44, eccentric hit at 3:56, #54 at 5:54, fullback at 6:14, couple of players at 6:32, and #69 at 6:59. Thumbs up so everyone can see this! :)
Your all fuckin dumb.. This kid is tha perfect runningback it doesn't get ne bettr at this level an his age so hw could u hav nething negative to say ab him.. U ppl kno nothing
i wanna see him run over just one person...hes quick and dances a lot but seems like he needs to work on strength. but dont get me wrong his lateral agility is insane
Man-- aside from being a tough SOB to tackle-- he does a hell of a job finding blockers downfield too. Not sure if he's got 'breakaway' speed (yet), but he's so damn quick he'll be just fine. I'm curious how badass he'll be when he's full grown.
@apureterror What are you watching, he has great explosiveness after the cuts. Look at his accerleration after he makes a move and get's going, that looks pretty explosive to me and he has great strength on top of that.
He's good.. very good. And looks like a major D1 prospect. But he's a 17 year old sophomore. I don't know how that happens, seeing as how I'm also a sophomore (class of 2013) but I'm gonna be 17 going into my first year of college. And will turn 18 three months in.
I love the comments on here from people who have never played running back and don't know what they are looking for. He will do very well on the next level. Kelvin plays a heck of a lot like Mark Ingram, His legs never die, and his knees never stop hurting people
He's10 times better than Matt Jones (at this point). He runs extremely physical, his acceleration is extremely fast, his top end speed isn't that amazing, but thats not his style anyway. When people grab hold of him they go for a ride cause his legs don't stop churning. His jukes are very subtle, and while most people don't notice them you see a lot of people falling down and getting juked out. Emmit Smith ran with those subtle jukes, they were just enough to throw people off balance. Go Gators!
This is sad he does a cutback and kids tackle eachother. he WILL get stuck at the next lvl he is slow his change of direction is not good he goes to a complete stop to make a cut and takes forever to get up to speed. He is a kid that is riding on dads name that is pitiful maybe he should try running north south because he can't do them cuts at the next lvl mainly how slow he is he is horible shouldn't be aloud on a campus like Florida maybe ucf
@Theiceburg13 u r trippin son. he plays against some of the fastest teams n florida. the speed state! his change of direction is VERY good. he plays at the same school his dad did and has out performed him big time. n fact he jus broke the florida all time rushing record... u dnt do that and be "horrible"...
I love to see comments on here berating 1B football. I used to play football at a 4A school that played teams like Manatee and Charlotte, but then I went to a 1B school. Yes, the competition at a bigger school is more intense, but I would bet that my 1B team would beat any school in our area, regardless of classification. I also played Kelvin Taylor two years ago. He's good, trust me. Once he gets to college, he'll see some different competition, but he'll still succeed.
yeah u guys wuld get rid of my comment cuhz u know its true. He needs to real compeition, playing at a 1b school ... hahahhaahaha a 6th grader would get 2000 rushing yards hahahhaa. He will earn my respet when he gets to atleast an A. and get out of the B's

definitely didn't pick up his dad's body lean. get that breast plate shattered. as a UT fan I'm more worried about Matt Jones going to UF.
