Incest wont be allowed because the child will have a higher chance of being mentally ill. A gay couple, if they want to have a child ( they DON'T have to have a child though remember... a lot of straight married couples choose to not have kids...) would adopt a child. I would rather see a child with a loving supportive gay couple than an abusive or unprepared straight couple.

there are tons of animals that do homosexual things. sex isn't just about procreation. even in simple beings like animals, sex is for recreation.

and in humans, it's much more. being homosexual isn't an excuse to have a ton of sex. it's about an individual finding a deep connection with another person who happens to be of the same sex. it's not a matter of evolution, it's a matter of choice and free will.

therefore, any individual who isn't a member of the church technically shouldn't be allowed to enter a marriage. (in fact, some churches ban certain kinds of people, like those cohabitating before marriage, from marrying in their chapel) they should only be entitled to a civil union.
