  • DEVASTATOR!!!!!

  • This video is one of my best memories as a kid - tried to explain it and "Druggachusettes" to friends in middle school but could never do the show justice. Glad it is finally online!

This video is immediately preceded by the sex montage of "Mr. Show - Watch Us Have Sex " and followed-up by a car scene where David has cancer... or not.

  • Spine cracking 90 degree turns! LMMFAO!

  • I can't decide what face makes me laugh harder, David's at 2:13 or Tom Kenny's crying face.

  • 1:37

    just gonna leave that there

  • This sounds like an advert for a custom Rollercoaster tycoon park.

  • Clarence Trill is Phil Hartman

  • My brother broke his neck and then he drowned! Lol, rofl.

  • I wish someone would make a I Survived the Devastator t-shirt. I would buy it in a second. I would even love a I aint afraid of no rollie coaster t-shirt as well.

  • 00:35 Is that Frankie Muniz? (Malcom in the Middle?)

  • @rollomaughfling that guy was like 3 or 4 at the time of the filming of this.

  • @ericwehler Thank you for the ride.

  • My brother broke his neck and then he drowned!!!

  • Livingston Brewster as cat Stevens. Great

  • I love how Keith Hutchinson is wearing the Devastator shirt with the neck brace.

  • This has been a real soul shattering experience

  • for gods sakes i'm afraid for me.

  • I ain't afraid of no rollycouster

  • I always react to seeing Trey Brackish break into tears at the end. It's a real soul-shattering experience.

  • I am having "Thank You For The Ride" played at my funeral.

  • no you guys you have it all wrong...this bit was about how they were crused when they found out santa wasent real(hence the "spine cracking" roller coaster) and the fact that bob nearly killed a man when he was 17 by holding him under water....nah im fuckin with you....its probably about some kind of cake..

  • ...and the final plunge; 2 WHOLE MINUTES UNDERWATER!

  • Got a ride from God, did ya hear?

I got a ride from the G-man today

He picked me up and all I could say was

"Thank you, man, you're the big boss man

You're God and you gave me a ri-hi-hi-hi-hide"

  • thaykew for the ri-hi-ide lol

  • Bob Odenkirk is a comic genius.

  • I AINT AFRAID OF NO ROLLYCOASTER!

  • so this is actually about heroin addiction right?

  • .....no it's about a roller coaster that kills people, and people continue to ride it regardless, and some people are afraid of it like it's some sort of monster.

  • @gathimest That's the great thing about Mr. Show... the sketched were so genius, they can be interpreted in so many ways. What i got from this is an analogy to how we have many dangers in our culture which the media reports on the effects the dangers have but immediately is sponsored by corporations and other extensions that are a related cause.

  • Recent victims include local favorites: The Hutchinson Brothers.

  • I aint' afraid of no rolling coaster!

  • It's "roly-coaster."

  • "i aint leavin!" ahaha XD

  • Funniest. Sketch. Ever. XD

  • At the end when the Johnston Family and Keith Hutchinson are standing in line despite the fact they don't want to is the most clever end I've seen for a sketch.

    Mr. Show's awesome!

  • That clown at the end always cracks me up for some reason.

  • i aint afraid of no rollycoaster!

    LMAO

  • Have you had enough of BAD NEWS??

  • the fact that the ads and news coverage keep overlapping is so great

"why would god let this HAPPEN!?!"

  • AND THE FINAL PLUNGE, TWO WHOLE MINUTES UNDERWATER!!!haha

He Broke his neck, and then he drown!

"I don't get it, I mean, How are you supposed to protect yourself from this kinda thing?" "Listen, We're Getting Outta Here First Thing in the Morning, I'm Afraid for my wife, afraid for my kids, and for god sake, I'm afraid for me!"

And I ain't afraid of no rolly coaster!hahah

  • oh no, not the hutchenson brothers. "...the next minute he's dead"

  • i miss mr. show. "DEVASTATOR!!!"

  • This has been a real soul shattering experience.

  • RIDE THE DEVASTATOR

  • DEVASTATOR

  • "I ain' afraid of no rollee coaster!"

  • Awesome video, one of my favorite Mr. Show sketches. LOL @ David's Livingston Taylor at the end.

  • Trey Brackish is my hero.

  • i ain't afraid of no rollie-coster!

  • Tired of BAD NEWS? take a trip to thrill world and ride the devistator!!..'i aint afraid of no rolly coaster'

  • And they even managed to get a joke in at James Taylor's less popular brother's expense (James Taylor has a brother named Livingston who's also a singer).

    Now that's genius.

  • 2 WHOLE MINUTES UNDERWATER.

  • my freinds da was in that

    at 46 and 3:01

  • hillarious

  • Dur, y'think so?

  • i aint afraid of no rollycoaster!

    hahaaa

  • Is that Jack Black as the clown? I thought it was Paul F. Tomkins.

  • "And two whole minutes underwater!"

    Absolutely hilarious. And prophetic.

  • "Local Favorites"

  • Jack Black is fucking hilarious in that clown suit

  • Hey man, thanks for the ride.

  • LOL. Believe it, or not, but I'm a proud owner of an "I survived the Devastator" ash gray t-shirt. It also says "Two whole minutes underwater" on the back of the tee.

  • Please, tell me where you purchased this shirt! I should start a Mr. Show t-shirt company with various quotes from the show...let's not forget, "I'm not afraid of no rolly-coaster!!!" A great shirt in the making. You know, Mr. Show may be the most t-shirt quote friendly show ever, i.e., "he was a two-time state yelling champion who dreamed of one day finding a box of money!" LOL!!!

  • Oops, I meant, "I AIN'T afraid of no rolly-coaster." Even funnier!

Plus, I want to have two kids and name them "Brick Sprickley" and "Trey Brackish."

  • The best candidate for a shirt would be "MORE MONEY = BETTER THAN"

  • I love that the family that packed to get away from danger is standing in line later (during the engineer talk) :)

  • Yeah! XD

  • Tom Kenny was there for the entire run of the show.

  • he wasn't there for the final season cuz of other obligations, i e voiceover for cartoons. he managed to appear a couple of times when he could, but thats it. he wasn't part of the cast the f inal season though he wanted to be.

  • "I ain't afraid of no rolly-coaster"!!!

  • Is Tom Kenny the reporter? I thought he had quit after Season 3, and this is 4...

  • He was in this one episode of season 4, and may have done some voie work in other season 4 episodes, but no other appearances.

  • this is from season 3 actually

  • Anyone from the Atlanta area remember the "Z" force? :(

  • Why would god let this happen...

    I ain't afraid of no rolly-coasters...

Man, I can't stop laughing. This was such a good show.

  • yeah all im sayin is if i wasn't scared i woulmydn't be boarding up my house and if it was a roollly" couaster I sure as heck wount

  • 90 degree turns at 200 mph. Holy shit!

  • The clown is NOT Jack Black...it's Paul F Tompkins.

  • WOW,headacehaver, you are a dunce. Thanks for sharing your stupidity. Please, take the time to look up the word "comedy" in the dictionary, you'll see a photo of Bob and David from Mr.Show.

  • have there been a bunch of retards or something posting replys to this video,, holy shit!

  • Too bad you get the whole song... "thank you for the everlovin' ride.."

  • This is just magic mountain iy's viper and revolution

  • I SURVIVED THE DEVASTATOR on Keith Hutchinson's shirt! I've watched this a million times and noticed that just now. Hilarious! I know JB was often on this show, but is he really the clown here? Hard to tell.

  • I ain't afraid o' no rolley coaster.

BTW, The clown is Jack Black.

  • why are people still going on it? it seems foolish. typical americans

  • how can you not get the joke?typical dumbass

  • Joke? I get it but it is so typical that they still go on it. even that old guy boarding up his house.what was he thinking? rollercoaster don't damage buildings duh!

  • Didn't you hear him saying he wasn't afraind of no rolley coaster?

  • typically, if people aren't afraid of something, they don't go ahead and board up their house. especially for something that doesn't damage buildings.

  • just because someone is boarding up a house doesnt mean they're scared, maybe his fish n' chips hut went out of business, hmmmmm?

  • you dumb, foreign putz. it's a television show.

  • DEVASTATOR!!!

  • lmao...the clown is the best part!!!

  • Also this really is how roller coasters are. They are always trying to one up themselves by making the rides faster, taller, and wetter so it's funny seeing this skit seeing how the Devastator takes all those things to the extreme. "It's Soul Shattering"

  • "TWO WHOLE MINTUES UNDERWATER"

    LOL what a great skit.

  • I miss Mr Show. It was one of my favorite t.v. shows of all time.

  • My brother is dead! He broke his neck and then he drowned!

  • That's how the news usually play out injuries on roller coasters.

  • Yah. They made it sound like the Son of Beast blew up and then the splinters pierced the hearts of everyone in the park. That caused ride ops to send coaster train flying into other structures, knocking them down where they crushed the homes of innocent suburban families. :/

    XD

  • lol

  • I AIN'T AFRAID O NO ROLLEY COSTER!!!

  • Mr. Show was a pip!

  • hooray mr show

  • Fucking Hilarious!
