When I put layer 2 below layer 1 no color showed up. Also I dont have what you are talking about under layers. Anyway I cant go to version two because I live in Germany and they wont allow that video here. I hate having youtube in Germany. Cant it just work the same. @PaigieePantss i dont think so but you can make ir darker by making a new layer on top of the outline layer then coloring the new layer black and making the mode overlay. (but make sure you dont have any color on it) then save the pic and open up the new pic then start to color :3!

@luverofpokemon Ok so make sure you are on the line art layer (the one with the picture) then click on the "Layer" tab then on the drop down menu click on "Desaturate" and then you make a new layer and put it under the line art layer then you color it in :D!!! that easy :] (sorry if i didnt make it clear on the video) Good Luck :3

Hey, ermm i don't know if your like a super good Sai colour person, but i got a question.. i tryed to follow this, but when ever i put my layer 2 under layer 1 and start to colour in.. it does not show.. but it's on the layer 2 picture.. soo when i put layer 2 on top of layer 1 it covers the lines... is there something wrong with my sai? and i can't find the layer>desturabute thingo you said..

@Tashina92 all you have to do is click on the lineart layer and then click on Layer > Luminance To Transparency. Or on some paint tools its Layer > Distribute.

@5blackcat12 well on the first layer where the outline of the picture is (not the layer were your going to color) u have to make sure you click on Layer > Luminance To Transparency. Or on some paint tools its Layer > Distribute (idk if i spelt it right :P)
